19. Drinks
١٩۔ كِتَابُ الْأَشْرِبَةِ
"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Khamr comes from these two.'" Suwaid (one of the narrators) said: "From these two trees: The date palm and the grapevine." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5572)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الْخَمْرُ مِنْ » وَقَالَ سُوَيْدٌ فِي هَاتَيْنِ الشَّجَرَتَيْنِ النَّخْلَةُ وَالْعِنَبَةُ
Wine comes from these two trees, the date-palm and the grapes-vine. Abu Dawud said : The name of Abu KAthir al-Ubari is Yazid b. ‘Abd al-Rahman b. Ghufailat al-Sahmi. Some said: Uzainah. What is correct is Ghufailah. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3678)

"Strong drink is Khamr." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5574)
عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَالشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَا «السَّكَرُ خَمْرٌ»
"Strong drink is Khamr." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5575)
«السَّكَرُ خَمْرٌ»
"Strong drink is unlawful, and a 'goodly provision' (is lawful)." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5577)
«السَّكَرُ حَرَامٌ وَالرِّزْقُ الْحَسَنُ حَلَالٌ»
