[Machine] Ibn Umar said, "I saw a man who came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a cup containing wine while he was at the corner (of the Ka'bah). He presented the cup to him, and he raised it towards his mouth, but then found it to be unbearable, so he returned it to its owner. A man from the people said to him, 'O Messenger of Allah, is it forbidden?' He replied, 'It is forbidden for me.' So the man was brought to him and he took the cup from him. Then he called for water and poured it into the cup. He raised it towards his mouth again, but then he made a gesture of abhorrence. Then he called for water again and poured it into the cup. Then he said, 'If these vessels bother you, break them with water.'" Ibn Umar narrated this hadith in a similar way. Abu Abdur Rahman Abdullah bin Umar said, "He is not known and his hadith is not relied upon. The well-known narration from Ibn Umar contradicts his story."
