[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed the afternoon prayer, then entered my house and prayed two units of prayer. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, you prayed a prayer that you do not usually pray." He said, "I had some money come to me that preoccupied me from praying these two units of prayer. I used to pray them after the noon prayer, but I prayed them now." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, should we make them up if we miss them?" He said, "No."  

صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْعَصْرَ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ بَيْتِي فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّيْتَ صَلَاةً لَمْ تَكُنْ تُصَلِّيهَا فَقَالَ قَدِمَ عَلَيَّ مَالٌ فَشَغَلَنِي عَنِ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ كُنْتُ أَرْكَعُهُمَا بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ فَصَلَّيْتُهُمَا الْآنَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَفَنَقْضِيهِمَا إِذَا فَاتَتْنَا قَالَ لَا  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , entered upon me after Asr prayer and performed two rak'ahs (units of prayer). I said, "O Messenger of Allah, what are these two rak'ahs?" He said, "I used to pray them after Dhuhr but something occupied me from praying them until I prayed Asr, so I prayed them now."  

دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا هَاتَانِ الرَّكْعَتَانِ قَالَ «كُنْتُ أُصَلِّيهُمَا بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ فَجَاءَنِي حَالٌ فَشَغَلَنِي عَنْهُمَا حَتَّى صَلَّيْتُ الْعَصْرَ فَصَلَّيْتُهُمَا الْآنَ»  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ came to me one day and prayed two units of prayer after Asr. I had not seen him pray them before, so I asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what are these two units of prayer?" He said, "A delegation from the tribe of Banu Tamim came and I used to pray two units of prayer after Dhuhr, but I did not get the chance to pray them, so these are those two units."  

دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَوْمًا فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ وَلَمْ أَكُنْ أَرَاهُ يُصَلِّيهِمَا فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا هَاتَانِ الرَّكْعَتَانِ قَالَ «قَدِمَ وَفْدُ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ فَكُنْتُ أُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ فَلَمْ أَكُنْ صَلَّيْتُهُمَا فَهُمَا هَاتَانِ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not pray these two prayers with me except once. He entered one day after 'Asr prayer and prayed two units. So I said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is this prayer that you did not used to pray?" Then, a prayer after 'Asr was revealed. He said: "No, but these two units I used to pray after Dhuhr, but I was occupied from them, so I made up for them."  

مَا صَلَّاهُمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عِنْدِي إِلَّا مَرَّةً دَخَلَ يَوْمًا بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةُ مَا كُنْتَ تُصَلِّيهَا فَنَزَلَتْ صَلَاةٌ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ قَالَ «لَا وَلَكِنْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ كُنْتُ أُصَلِّيهُمَا بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ فَشُغِلْتُ عَنْهُمَا فَتَدَارَكْتُهُمَا»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon me after 'Asr prayer and prayed two raka'ahs. So I said, "What are these two raka'ahs, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "I used to pray them before 'Asr prayer, but a group of people came to me and occupied me, so I prayed them now."  

دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَقُلْتُ مَا هَاتَانِ الرَّكْعَتَانِ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ «كُنْتُ أُصَلِّيهُمَا قَبْلَ الْعَصْرِ فَجَاءَنِي قَوْمٌ فَشَغَلُونِي فَصَلَّيْتُهُمَا الْآنَ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to me after Asr prayer and prayed two rak'ahs. I asked, "O Messenger, what are these two rak'ahs? Did you used to pray them?" He replied, "I used to pray them after Dhuhr prayer, but some wealth came to me and I became occupied with it, so I am praying them now."
