[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ passed by while I was with him on Ma'mar, and his thighs were uncovered. He said, "O Ma'mar, cover your thighs, as the thighs are an 'awra (part of the body that should be covered)."
مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَأَنَا مَعَهُ عَلَى مَعْمَرٍ وَفَخِذَاهُ مَكْشُوفَتَانِ فَقَالَ يَا مَعْمَرُ غَطِّ فَخِذَيْكَ؛ فَإِنَّ الْفَخِذَيْنِ عَوْرَةٌ
[Machine] He said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by him while he was with Ma'mar, with his thighs exposed. He said, "O Ma'mar, cover your thighs, for the thighs are 'awrah (to be covered)." It has also been narrated from Ali ibn Abi Talib and Abdullah ibn Abbas from the Prophet ﷺ , similar to it. Adh-Dhahabi did not mention it in his summarization.
أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا مَعَهُ عَلَى مَعْمَرٍ وَفَخِذَاهُ مَكْشُوفَتَانِ فَقَالَ «يَا مَعْمَرُ غَطِّ فَخِذَيْكَ فَإِنَّ الْفَخِذَيْنِ عَوْرَةٌ» وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ نَحْوُهُسكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
[Machine] I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when we passed by Ma'mar, who was sitting in front of his house in the market with his thighs uncovered. The Prophet ﷺ said, "O Ma'mar, cover your thighs, as the thighs are a part that should be covered."
كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَمَرَّ عَلَى مَعْمَرٍ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ عِنْدَ دَارِهِ بِالسُّوقِ وَفَخِذَاهُ مَكْشُوفَانِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «يَا مَعْمَرُ غَطِّ فَخِذَيْكَ فَإِنَ الْفَخِذَيْنِ عَوْرَةٌ»
[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ passed by and I was with him on Ma'mar. His thighs were uncovered, so he said, "O Ma'mar, cover your thighs, for the thigh is nakedness."
مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا مَعَهُ عَلَى مَعْمَرٍ وَفَخِذَاهُ مَكْشُوفَانِ فَقَالَ «يَا مَعْمَرُ غَطِّ فَخِذَيْكَ فَإِنَّ الْفَخِذَ عَوْرَةٌ»
[Machine] I was with the Prophet ﷺ in the marketplace when Ma'mar passed by with his thigh uncovered. The Prophet ﷺ told him, "Cover your thigh, O Ma'mar, for it is from the 'awrah."
كُنْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي السُّوقِ فَمَرَّ عَلَى مَعْمَرٍ عَلَى بَابِهِ مَكْشُوفَةٌ فَخِذُهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «غَطِّ فَخِذَكَ يَا مَعْمَرُ فَإِنَّهَا مِنَ الْعَوْرَةِ»
[Machine] He said, "I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when we passed by Ma'mar who was sitting near his house in the market, with his thighs exposed. The Prophet ﷺ said, 'O Ma'mar, cover your thighs, for indeed the thighs are a private part, and likewise.' "
أَنَّهُ قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَمَرَّ عَلَى مَعْمَرٍ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ عِنْدَ دَارِهِ بِالسُّوقِ وَفَخِذَاهُ مَكْشُوفَتَانِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَا مَعْمَرُ غَطِّ فَخِذَيْكَ فَإِنَّ الْفَخِذَيْنِ عَوْرَةٌ وَكَذَلِكَ
