"Ibn Jarhad informed me from his father, that the Prophet ﷺ passed by him while his thigh was exposed, so the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Cover your thigh, for indeed it is 'Awrah.'"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَرَّ بِهِ وَهُوَ كَاشِفٌ عَنْ فَخِذِهِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ غَطِّ فَخِذَكَ فَإِنَّهَا مِنَ الْعَوْرَةِ

[AI] "Jarhad informed his grandfather and a group other than him, who were pleased, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by Jarhad. Jarhad had his thigh exposed in the mosque, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, 'O Jarhad, cover your thigh, for indeed, O Jarhad, the thigh is an ‘awrah.'"

جَرْهَدٍعَنْ جَرْهَدٍ جَدِّهِ وَنَفَرٍ مِنْ أَسْلَمَ سِوَاهُ ذَوِي رِضًا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ مَرَّ عَلَى جَرْهَدٍ وَفَخِذُ جَرْهَدٍ مَكْشُوفَةٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَا جَرْهَدُ غَطِّ فَخِذَكَ فَإِنَّ يَا جَرْهَدُ الْفَخِذَ عَوْرَةٌ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ passed by while I was with him on Ma'mar, and his thighs were uncovered. He said, "O Ma'mar, cover your thighs, as the thighs are an 'awra (part of the body that should be covered)."

مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَأَنَا مَعَهُ عَلَى مَعْمَرٍ وَفَخِذَاهُ مَكْشُوفَتَانِ فَقَالَ يَا مَعْمَرُ غَطِّ فَخِذَيْكَ؛ فَإِنَّ الْفَخِذَيْنِ عَوْرَةٌ

[AI] I was with the Prophet ﷺ when he passed by Ma'mar who was sitting near his house in the market, and his thighs were exposed. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Cover your thighs, O Ma'mar, for indeed the thighs are considered awrah (private parts)." Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in his summary.

كُنْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَمَرَّ عَلَى مَعْمَرٍ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ عِنْدَ دَارِهِ فِي السُّوقِ وَفَخِذَاهُ مَكْشُوفَتَانِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «غَطِّ فَخِذَكَ يَا مَعْمَرُ فَإِنَّ الْفَخِذَ عَوْرَةٌ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

[AI] He said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by him while he was with Ma'mar, with his thighs exposed. He said, "O Ma'mar, cover your thighs, for the thighs are 'awrah (to be covered)."
