أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ أَلاَ أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ الشُّهَدَاءِ الَّذِي يَأْتِي بِشَهَادَتِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْأَلَهَا
"Shall I not tell you of the best witnesses ? He is the one who produces his deposition or gives his evidence (the narrator is doubtful) before he is asked for it." 'Abd Allah bin Abi Bakr dobted which of them he said. Abu Dawud said: Malis said: This refers to a man gives his evidence, but he does not know for whom it is meant. Al-Hamdani said: "He should inform the authorities. Ibn al-Sarh said: "He should give it to the ruler. The work ikhbar (inform) occurs in the version of al-Hamdani." أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَلاَ أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ الشُّهَدَاءِ الَّذِي يَأْتِي بِشَهَادَتِهِ أَوْ يُخْبِرُ بِشَهَادَتِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْأَلَهَا شَكَّ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ أَيَّتَهُمَا قَالَ
"Shall l not inform you of the best of witnesses? The one who comes with his testimony before being asked for it."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَلاَ أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ الشُّهَدَاءِ الَّذِي يَأْتِي بِالشَّهَادَةِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْأَلَهَا
Yahya related to me from Malik from Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr ibn Muhammad ibn Amr ibn Hazm from his father from Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Uthman from Abu Amra al-Ansari from Zayd ibn Khalid al-Juhani that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Shall I not tell you who is the best of witnesses? The one who brings his testimony before he is asked for it, or tells his testimony before he is asked for it."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَلاَ أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ الشُّهَدَاءِ الَّذِي يَأْتِي بِشَهَادَتِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْأَلَهَا أَوْ يُخْبِرُ بِشَهَادَتِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْأَلَهَا

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Shall I not inform you of the best testimony? Those who give their testimony without being asked."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ الشَّهَادَةِ؟ الَّذِينَ يَبْدَءُونَ بِشَهَادَتِهِمْ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يُسْأَلُوا عَنْهَا

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ الشُّهَدَاءِ الَّذِي يَأْتِي بِشَهَادَتِهِ أَوْ يُحَدِّثُهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْأَلَهَا»

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أَلَا أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ الشُّهَدَاءِ؟ الَّذِينَ يَبْدَءُونَ بِشَهَادَتِهِمْ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْأَلُوهَا»
