[Machine] "He (Anas) narrated that he had sahoor (pre-dawn meal) with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Then we went out until we reached the prayer. Anas said, 'I asked Zaid, how much time was there between that (sahoor) and the prayer?' Zaid said, 'It was the time it takes to recite fifty verses or twenty verses.'"  

أحمد:٢١٦٣٧حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ

أَنَّهُ تَسَحَّرَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ ثُمَّ خَرَجْنَا حَتَّى أَتَيْنَا الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ أَنَسٌ فَقُلْتُ لِزَيْدٍ كَمْ كَانَ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ؟ قَالَ قَدْرُ قِرَاءَةِ خَمْسِينَ آيَةً أَوْسِتِّينَ آيَةً

“We ate Suhur with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ then we got up to perform prayer.” I said: “How long was there between the two?” He said: “As long as it takes to recite fifty verses.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1694)

[Machine] "We had suhoor with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , then we went out for prayer." I said, "How much time was there between the adhan (call to prayer), iqamah (second call to prayer), and suhoor?" He said, "About fifty verses worth."
