The Messenger of Allah rinsed his mouth and sniffed water up into his nostrils from one scoop of water. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 403)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ تَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ مِنْ كَفٍّ وَاحِدٍ
The Messenger of Allah rinsed his mouth and sniffed water up into his nostrils from one scoop of water. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 403)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ تَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ مِنْ كَفٍّ وَاحِدٍ
"1 saw the Prophet rinse his mouth and sniff water in his nose using one hand, he did that thrice,"
رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ مِنْ كَفٍّ وَاحِدٍ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ ثَلاَثًا
The Messenger of Allah rinsed his mouth and sniffed water up into his nostrils from one scoop of water.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ مِنْ غَرْفَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ
The Messenger of Allah performed ablution and he rinsed his mouth three times, and sniffed water up into his nose three times from one handful.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ فَمَضْمَضَ ثَلاَثًا وَاسْتَنْشَقَ ثَلاَثًا مِنْ كَفٍّ وَاحِدٍ
[Machine] The translation of the passage is as follows: "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform gargling and inhalation when he would cleanse himself from janabah (major ritual impurity)."
