The Messenger of Allah rinsed his mouth and sniffed water up into his nostrils from one scoop of water.  

ابن ماجة:٤٠٣ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَلاَّدٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ مِنْ غَرْفَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ
