I visited the Apostle ﷺ and saw him praying on a reed mat on which he was prostrating himself. And I saw him praying in a single garment with ends crossed with each other.

أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ فَرَأَيْتُهُ يُصَلِّي عَلَى حَصِيرٍ يَسْجُدُ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ وَرَأَيْتُهُ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُتَوَشِّحًا بِهِ

Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported that he went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and found him observing prayer on a mat and prostrating on that.

أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَوَجَدَهُ يُصَلِّي عَلَى حَصِيرٍ يَسْجُدُ عَلَيْهِ

"I heard Nawfal bin Mu'awiyah say: 'There is a prayer which if a person misses it, it is as of he has been robbed of his family and his wealth.'" Ibn 'Umar said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'It is 'Asr prayer.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ هِيَ صَلاَةُ الْعَصْرِ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed prayer on a reed mat.”

صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَلَى حَصِيرٍ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed prayer on a reed mat.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1029)

صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى حَصِيرٍ
