"There is a kind of protective Jealousy that Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, loves anda kind that Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, hates, and a kind of pride that Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, loves and a kind that Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, hates, As for the protective jealousy that Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, loves, it is protective jealousy when there are grounds for suspicion. [Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, from jealousy there is what Allah loves and from it there is what Allah hates. And from arrogance there is what Allah loves and from it there is what Allah hates. So, the jealousy Allah loves is jealousy in suspicion, and the jealousy Allah hates is jealousy without suspicion. And the arrogance that Allah loves is the servant's confidence in himself for the sake of Allah during battle, and his confidence in giving charity. And the arrogance that Allah hates is arrogance in pride and arrogance, or like the one who said, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said...'"

The Prophet ﷺ said: There is jealousy which Allah loves and jealousy which Allah hates. That which Allah loves is jealousy regarding a matter of doubt, and that which Allah hates is jealousy regarding something which is not doubtful. There is pride which Allah hates and pride which Allah loves. That which Allah loves is a man's pride when fighting and when giving sadaqah and that which Allah hates is pride shown by oppression. The narrator Musa said: "by boasting." (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2659)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Verily, among jealousy there are that which Allah loves, and among it there are that which Allah hates. The jealousy that Allah loves is jealousy in doubt, and the jealousy that Allah hates is jealousy with no doubt. The confidence that Allah loves is the confidence of a man in himself during battle and during giving charity, and the confidence that Allah hates is the confidence in falsehood."
