[Machine] "Abu Ayub Al-Ansari reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent him food with some greens containing onions or leeks, but he did not see any trace of the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ saliva on it, so he refused to eat it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked him, 'What prevented you from eating?' He replied, 'I did not see any trace of you, O Messenger of Allah ﷺ.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'I feel shy in front of the angels of Allah while it is not prohibited.'"  

الطبراني:٤٠٧٧ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ثنا أَصْبَغُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ سَوَادَةَ أَنَّ سُفْيَانَ بْنَ وَهْبٍ حَدَّثَهُ

عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ؓ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أُرْسِلَ إِلَيْهِ بِطَعَامٍ مَعَ خَضِرَةٍ فِيهِ بَصَلٌ أَوْ كُرَّاثٌ لَمْ يَرَ فِيهِ أَثَرَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَبَى أَنْ يَأْكُلَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تَأْكُلَ؟» قَالَ لَمْ أَرَ فِيهِ أَثَرَكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَسْتَحْيِي مِنْ مَلَائِكَةِ اللهِ وَلَيْسَ بِمُحَرَّمٍ»

[Machine] "He sent to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ a dish of vegetables that contained onions or leek, but the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not eat from it. So he refused to eat it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked him, 'What prevents you from eating it?' He replied, 'I did not see any trace of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eating from it.' Upon this, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'I feel shy in front of the angels of Allah Almighty, but it is not forbidden.'"  

الحاكم:٧١٨٩ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ أنبأ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ سَوَادَةَ أَنَّ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَهْبٍ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ

أَنَّهُ أَرْسَلَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِطَعَامٍ مِنْ خَضِرَةٍ فِيهِ بَصَلٌ أَوْ كُرَّاثٌ فَلَمْ يَرَ فِيهِ أَثَرَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَأَبَى أَنْ يَأْكُلَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ مَا يَمْنَعُكَ أَنْ تَأْكُلَهُ؟ قَالَ لَمْ أَرَ أَثَرَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَسْتَحْيِي مِنْ مَلَائِكَةِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى وَلَيْسَ بِمُحَرِّمٍ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ على شرط البخاري ومسلم

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent him food with green vegetables that included onions or garlic, but he did not see any trace of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on it. So he refused to eat it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked him, "What prevented you from eating?" He said, "I did not see your trace on it, O Messenger of Allah." The Prophet ﷺ said, "I feel ashamed before the angels of Allah, but it is not forbidden."
