[Machine] He heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying, "A dream is tied to the leg of a bird until it is interpreted, then it occurs."
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الرُّؤْيَا عَلَى رِجْلِ طَائِرٍ مَا لَمْ تُعَبَّرْ فَإِذَا عُبِّرَتْ وَقَعَتْ»

The Prophet ﷺ said: The vision flutters over a man as long as it is not interpreted , but when it is interpreted, it settles. And I think he said: Tell it only to one who loves (i.e. friend) or one who has judgment.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الرُّؤْيَا عَلَى رِجْلِ طَائِرٍ مَا لَمْ تُعَبَّرْ فَإِذَا عُبِّرَتْ وَقَعَتْ قَالَ وَأَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ وَلاَ يَقُصُّهَا إِلاَّ عَلَى وَادٍّ أَوْ ذِي رَأْىٍ
“Dreams are attached to the foot of a bird* until they are interpreted, then when they are interpreted they come to pass.” He said: “And dreams are one of the forty-six parts of prophecy.” He (the narrator) said: “And I think he said: ‘(A person) should not tell them except to one whom he loves or one who is wise.’”
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ الرُّؤْيَا عَلَى رِجْلِ طَائِرٍ مَا لَمْ تُعْبَرْ فَإِذَا عُبِرَتْ وَقَعَتْ قَالَ وَالرُّؤْيَا جُزْءٌ مِنْ سِتَّةٍ وَأَرْبَعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ قَالَ وَأَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ لاَ يَقُصُّهَا إِلاَّ عَلَى وَادٍّ أَوْ ذِي رَأْىٍ
[Machine] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Dreams are like a bird perched on a man, as long as it is not mentioned, it will occur."
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الرُّؤْيَا هِيَ عَلَى رِجْلِ طَائِرٍ مَا لَمْ يُحَدَّثْ بِهَا فَإِذَا حُدِّثَ بِهَا وَقَعَتْ»
"الرُّؤيَا عَلَى رجل طَائِر مَا لم تعَبَّرْ، فإِذا عُبِّرَتْ وَقَعَتْ، وَلَا تَقُصُّهَا إِلا عَلَى وَادٍّ أو ذِي رأىٍ".
