[Machine] The children of Israel, when a murder was committed among them intentionally, they were only allowed retaliation, and it was made lawful for you to seek Qisas (retaliation) in cases of intentional murder. Then, this command was given that he who will accept the blood money, he will follow with fairness. And this command was given to fulfill it with excellence. That is a mitigation and mercy from your Lord.
كَانَتْ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ إِذَا قُتِلَ مِنْهُمُ الْقَتِيلُ عَمْدًا لَمْ يَحِلَّ لَهُمْ إِلَّا الْقَوَدُ وَأُحِلَّتْ لَكُمُ الدِّيَةُ فَأُمِرَ هَذَا أَنْ يَتْبَعَ بِمَعْرُوفٍ وَأُمِرَ هَذَا أَنْ يُؤَدِّي بِإِحْسَانٍ {ذَلِكَ تَخْفِيفٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ}

عَصَيْتَ رَبَّكَ وَبَانَتْ مِنْكَ امْرَأَتُكَ فَلَمْ تَتَّقِ اللهَ فَيَجْعَلْ لَكَ مَخْرَجًا وَيَرْزُقْكَ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا تَحْتَسِبُ وَقَرَأَ {يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ النِّسَاءَ فَطَلِّقُوهُنَّ لِعِدَّتِهِنَّ}
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When you pass by the gardens of Paradise, enjoy yourselves." It was asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what are the gardens of Paradise?" He replied, "The gatherings of knowledge."

Until His saying, "In it they will abide eternally."
أَنَّ يَهُودَ كَانُوا يَقُولُونَ هَذِهِ الدُّنْيَا سَبْعَةُ آلَافِ سَنَةٍ وَإِنَّمَا نُعَذَّبُ لِكُلِّ أَلْفِ سَنَةٍ يَوْمًا فِي النَّارِ وَإِنَّمَا هِي سَبْعَةُ أَيَّامٍ مَعْدُودَاتٌ فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ ﷻ فِي ذَلِكَ وَقَالُوا {لَنْ تَمَسَّنا النَّارُ إِلَّا أَيَّامًا مَعْدُودَةً} إِلَى قَوْلِهِ {فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ}

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O people of Makkah, do not shorten the prayer unless you are at a distance of less than four miles from Makkah to 'Usfan."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "The best water on the face of the earth is the water of Zamzam. It has food-like taste and is a cure for sickness. The worst water on the face of the earth is the water of a valley called Barahut, which is located in the remaining part of Hadhramaut, as small as the leg of a grasshopper, flowing in the morning and evening, not leaving any traces behind."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "In the end of times, there will come a people whose faces are like those of humans, but their hearts are like those of devils. They are like wandering wolves, with no mercy in their hearts. They spill blood without hesitation, and they do not shy away from evil. If you follow them, they will deceive you. If you turn away from them, they will slander you. If they speak to you, they will lie to you. If you trust them, they will betray you. Their young are aggressive, their young men are sharp, and their elders do not enjoin good or forbid evil. To show respect for them is humiliation, and seeking their favor leads to poverty. The forbearing among them is considered ignorant, and the one who enjoins good among them is accused. The believer among them is oppressed, and the wicked among them is honored. The Sunnah among them is innovation, and innovation among them is the Sunnah. At that time, their worst among them will be in control, and their best among them will be ignored."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No one who is addicted to alcohol, oppressive, or an unjust usurper will enter Paradise." Ibn Abbas said, "I found it difficult for me to accept this because believers commit sins. But then I found in the book of Allah in the verse about the oppressive [behavior]: 'Then would you possibly abandon [fighting] if you turned back and caused corruption on earth and severing of ties of kinship?'" (Surah Muhammad, 47:22) And in the verse about the unjust usurper, 'Do not nullify your charities with reminders and injury' (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:264) And in the verse about wine, 'Indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters [to other than Allah], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it...'" (Surah Al-Maidah, 5:90)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مُدْمِنُ خَمْرٍ وَلَا عَاقٌّ وَلَا مَنَّانٌ» قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فَشَقَّ ذَلِكَ عَلِيَّ لِأَنَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُصِيبُونَ ذُنُوبًا حَتَّى وَجَدْتُ ذَلِكَ فِي كِتَابِ اللهِ فِي الْعَاقِّ {فَهَلْ عَسَيْتُمْ إِنْ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ أَنْ تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَتُقَطِّعُوا أَرْحَامَكُمْ} الْآيَةُ وَفِي الْمَنَّانِ {لَا تُبْطِلُوا صَدَقَاتِكُمْ بِالْمَنِّ وَالْأَذَى} الْآيَةَ وَفِي الْخَمْرِ {إِنَّمَا الْخَمْرُ وَالْمَيْسِرُ وَالْأَنْصَابُ وَالْأَزْلَامُ رِجْسٌ} إِلَى قَوْلِهِ {فَاجْتَنِبُوهُ}
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, the angels rejoice at the arrival of spring as a mercy for the poor believers after a period of hardship."
[Machine] I ran with Al-Fadl in front of the Prophet ﷺ while he was praying on the day of Arafah. There was no one between us and him.

[Machine] "He used to recite, 'And it is not for a Prophet to have captives of war until he has thoroughly subdued the land. You [believers] are not to withhold the spoils of war until Allah fulfills His promise. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Wise.' Allah said, 'And they kill the prophets, but they attributed it to the Prophet [Muhammad] while it was them who killed the prophets.' But the hypocrites attributed falsehood to the Prophet [Muhammad]. So Allah revealed, 'And it is not for a Prophet to have captives of war until he has thoroughly subdued the land.'"
أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ {وَمَا كَانَ لِنَبِيٍّ أَنْ يَغُلَّ} «وَكَيْفَ لَا يَكُونُ لَهُ أَنْ يَغُلَّ وَلَهُ أَنْ يُقْتَلَ» قَالَ اللهُ {وَيَقْتُلُونَ الْأَنْبِيَاءَ} «وَلَكِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ اتَّهَمُوا النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِي شَيْءٍ» فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ ﷻ {وَمَا كَانَ لِنَبِيٍّ أَنْ يَغُلَّ}

[Machine] Regarding the wine, Ibn Abbas placed his fingers in his ears and said, "Be silent, if I were to lie about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, I heard him say, 'All types of alcohol are forbidden, whether it be white, red, black, or green.'"

So what are their books and messengers?" Allah said, "Their messengers are the angels and the prophets among them, and their books are the Torah, the Psalms, the Gospel, and the Quran." Satan said, "And what is my book?" Allah said, "Your book is tattoos, and your Quran is poetry. And your messengers are fortune-tellers, and your food is that which the name of Allah is not mentioned upon it, and your drink is every intoxicant. And your truthfulness is lying, and your house is the bathroom, and your traps are women, and your muezzin is the wind instrument, and your mosque is the marketplace."
