[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No one who is addicted to alcohol, oppressive, or an unjust usurper will enter Paradise." Ibn Abbas said, "I found it difficult for me to accept this because believers commit sins. But then I found in the book of Allah in the verse about the oppressive [behavior]: 'Then would you possibly abandon [fighting] if you turned back and caused corruption on earth and severing of ties of kinship?'" (Surah Muhammad, 47:22) And in the verse about the unjust usurper, 'Do not nullify your charities with reminders and injury' (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:264) And in the verse about wine, 'Indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters [to other than Allah], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it...'" (Surah Al-Maidah, 5:90)
