[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ once passed by the houses of the Ansar and found a group of people gathered. He asked, "Who slaughtered before we did?" A man came forward and said, "I did, O Messenger of Allah. Today is a day when food is disliked." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Prepare something." The man said, "By Allah, I have nothing but a piece of mutton or a pregnant goat." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Go ahead and slaughter it, and it will not be counted as a sacrifice for anyone after you."

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ passed by our homes and found a slaughtered sheep. He asked, "Who slaughtered it?" A man from among us came forward and said, "O Messenger of Allah, it was a day on which the meat was disliked, so I slaughtered it to eat and feed my neighbors." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Prepare the slaughter again." The man said, "By Allah, I do not have anything except a lamb or a pregnant sheep." He repeated this statement three times. The Prophet ﷺ said, "So slaughter it, and there is no reward for leaving any part of it for anyone after you." And he had slaughtered it before the prayer.

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ continued until he reached the outskirts of the Ansar's dwellings and found a group of people. He asked, "Who slaughtered?" A man came out and said, "O Messenger of Allah, today is a day of hardship in terms of food." He said, "Prepare something." The man said, "By Allah, all I have is a piece or a pregnant sheep." He said, "Prepare it." He said this three times, then he said, "Slaughter it and it will not be sufficient for anyone after you."

[Machine] I went with my father to the Prophet ﷺ as his people embraced Islam. He advised us, saying, "Let the one among you who knows the most Qur'an lead you in prayer." As I knew the most Qur'an, they made me lead them.

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying during the Farewell Hajj: "Should I not inform you of which day is the holiest?" They said: "Certainly, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "Indeed, your blood, your wealth, and your honor are sacred amongst you, just as this day of yours, in this month of yours, in this land of yours. Behold! Nothing is permissible for you except for what is permissible for you today, in this land of yours, in this month of yours. No traveler shall be safe except those who have a permit from their parents. No child will be legitimate upon their father and no father will be legitimate upon their child. Behold! Indeed, Satan has despaired of being worshipped in your land ever. However, he will be obeyed in some of those actions that you belittle. And he will be content with them. Behold! Every bloodshed from the pre-Islamic era is null and void. And the first bloodshed that I revoke is the blood of Harith ibn Abdul-Muttalib, who was being breastfed among Bani Layth, so he was killed by them. Then he said: "O people! Have I not conveyed the message to you?" They said: "Indeed, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "O Allah, bear witness!"

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ invited me and wanted to send me with money to Abu Sufyan to distribute it among the Quraish in Mecca after the conquest. He said, "Find a companion." So, 'Amr ibn Umayyah Ad-Damri came to me and said, "I heard that you want to go out and find a companion. I am your companion." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When you find a companion, give me permission." So, I gave him permission and he asked, "Who is it?" I said, "Amr ibn Umayyah Ad-Damri." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When he reaches the land of his people, be cautious of him, for someone has described him to me as being your brother Al-Bakri, so do not trust him." We set out until we reached Al-Abwa. He said, "I have a need with my people, please wait for me." I said, "Hurry back." When he left, I remembered the statement of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so I tightened my camel's harness, and when I reached the tall palm trees, I saw him opposing me with a group. He said, "I have put it off." I heard him, so when he saw that I was ready to fight, they turned away and came to me. He said, "I had a need with my people." I said, "Alright." We continued until we reached Mecca and I handed over the money to Abu Sufyan.

[Machine] Amr ibn Qais had a loan in pre-Islamic times, and this loan prevented him from accepting Islam until he paid it back. One day, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to Uhud and asked his people, "Where is Saad ibn Muadh?" They replied, "He is at Uhud." The Prophet then asked, "Where is so-and-so?" They replied, "He is at Uhud." He asked about his people and they replied, "They are at Uhud." So he took his sword and spear, dressed for battle, and went to Uhud. When the Muslims saw him, they said, "Greetings to you, O Amr!" He replied, "I have already embraced Islam." He fought until he was killed, and then he was carried to his family as a wounded person. Saad ibn Muadh entered upon him and said to his brother, "Did you come in anger for the sake of Allah and His Messenger?" He replied, "Yes." Then he died and entered Paradise, without ever performing the prayer.

They said, "Three, five, seven, nine, eleven, thirteen, and everything between Qaf and Al-Quran Al-Majeed is a good way to divide." [Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not leave anything behind on the day he died except his weapons and his white mule, and he designated a piece of land as charity.

tabarani:14226Abū Khalīfah

[Machine] Mohammed ibn Salam, Amr ibn Ma'di Karib, had experiences in the pre-Islamic era. He embraced Islam when it reached the Prophet ﷺ and Umar ibn Al-Khattab directed him to Saad ibn Abi Waqqas in Al-Qadisiyah. He faced a favorable test there. Umar wrote to Saad ibn Abi Waqqas asking for support from two thousand men, including Amr ibn Ma'di Karib and Talhah ibn Khuwailid, also known as Talhah Al-Asadi. He consulted them on matters of war and did not favor either of them.

الطبراني:١٤٢٢٦حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ قَالَ قَالَ

[Machine] While he was like that, there were walls made of the bracelets of a Persian knight, which were surrounding him. It was said to him, "O Abu Thawr, these bracelets have surrounded you with their sharpness." He threw it and hit the eye of Amr's bow, breaking it. Amr retaliated, stabbing him and hitting his back, causing him to fall down. He then took two golden bracelets from him, previously acquired as spoils of war. He said, "This is your reward."

[Machine] "So he commanded him, so he became thirsty. Then he called for a cup of water and called for the neck of a horse, so she drank. Then the horse of Amr came, so he bent down his hands and drank. And this is the behavior of the hybrid. He said, 'Don't you see?' He said, 'Yes, the hybrid knows the hybrid.' So Umar reached out and wrote to him, 'I have received what you said to your leader, and I have received that you have a sword called Al-Sim'amah, and I have a carefully crafted sword, and by Allah, if you lay it on your shoulder, I will not remove it until I deliver it to something.' [Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said in his farewell pilgrimage: "Indeed, the allies of Allah are those who pray and establish the five prayers that Allah has prescribed for His servants, and they fast in Ramadan and consider their fast as a virtue, and they give charity with good intentions, whereby their souls are satisfied. They consider it as a virtue and they avoid the major sins that Allah has forbidden." A man from his companions then asked, "O Messenger of Allah, how many are the major sins?" He replied, "They are nine, the greatest of which are associating partners with Allah, killing a believer unjustly, fleeing on the day of battle, accusing chaste women, practicing sorcery, consuming the wealth of orphans, consuming interest, disobeying Muslim parents, and making permissible the sacred Kaaba for you while you are alive or dead. A person who does not commit these major sins, performs prayers, and gives charity will surely join Muhammad ﷺ in the highest levels of Paradise, where its doors are made of golden handles."
