[Machine] While he was like that, there were walls made of the bracelets of a Persian knight, which were surrounding him. It was said to him, "O Abu Thawr, these bracelets have surrounded you with their sharpness." He threw it and hit the eye of Amr's bow, breaking it. Amr retaliated, stabbing him and hitting his back, causing him to fall down. He then took two golden bracelets from him, previously acquired as spoils of war. He said, "This is your reward."  

الطبراني:١٤٢٢٧حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ القَرَاطِيسِيُّ ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ يَوْمَ الْقَادِسِيَّةِ وَهُوَ يُحَرِّضُ النَّاسَ عَلَى الْقِتَالِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ §كُونُوا أُسْدًا أَشِدَّاءَ غَنَّاءَ شَأْنَاءَ إِنَّمَا الْفَارِسِيُّ تَيْسٌ إِذَا أَلْقَى نَيْرَكَهُ قَالَ

فَبَيْنَمَا هُوَ كَذَلِكَ إِذَا أَسْوَارٌ مِنْ أَسَاوِرَةِ فَارِسَ قَدْ تَوَالَهَ بِنَشَابَةٍ فَقِيلَ لَهُ يَا أَبَا ثَوْرٍ إِنَّ هَذِهِ الْأَسْوَارَ قَدْ تَوَالَكَ بِنَشَابَتِهِ قَالَ فَرَمَاهُ فَأَصَابَ سِيَةَ قَوْسِ عَمْرٍو فَكَسَرَهَا فَحَمَلَ عَلَيْهِ عَمْرٌو فَطَعَنَهُ فَدَقَّ صُلْبَهُ فَنَزَلَ إِلَيْهِ فَأَخَذَ سِوَارَيْنِ كَانَا عَلَيْهِ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ ويسلمفا مِنْ دِيبَاجٍ قَالَ فَسَلَّمَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ
