"خَدَمْتُ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ عَشْرَ سنِينَ، لاَ والله مَا سَبَّنِى سَبَّةً قَطُّ، وَلاَ قَالَ لِى أُفٍّ قَطُّ، وَلاَ قَالَ لِى لِشَئ فَعَلتُهُ (لمَ فَعَلتَهُ) (*) وَلا لشئٍ لَمْ أَفْعَلهُ: أَلاَ فَعَلتَهُ! ".
I served the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for ten years, and by Allah, he never scolded me or said to me "uff" (an expression of annoyance) and he never asked me why I did something or why I did not do something except that he said to me, "Why did you do it?" or "Why did you not do it?"
