"إِنَّ هذِهِ الصلاةَ يعنى -العصرَ- فُرِضَتْ على من كان قبلكم فَضَيَّعُوها، فَمَنْ حافظَ منكم اليومَ عَلَيها كانَ له أَجْرُهُ مَرَّتيْنِ، وَلَا صلاةَ بعدَها حتى يَطلُعَ الشَّاهِدُ. والشَّاهدُ النَّجْمُ" .

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed the Asr prayer with us, and when he finished he said, "Indeed, this prayer was presented to those who came before you, but they neglected and abandoned it. So whoever among you prays it, his reward will be doubled, and there will be no prayer after it until the witness is seen, and the witness is the setting of the sun."

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, this prayer, meaning the Asr prayer, was made obligatory upon those who came before you, but they neglected it. So whoever among you preserves it today will receive its reward twice, and there is no prayer after it until the witness is seen, meaning the star."
