"عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ، قَالَ: لَا تُحَرِّمْ الْعَيْفَةُ، قِيلَ: وَمَا الْعَيْفَةُ؟ قَالَ: الْمَرْأَةُ تَلِدُ فَيَحْصُرُ لَبَنُهَا فَتُرْضِعُهُ جَارَتَها الْمَرَّةَ وَالمرَّتَيْنِ".
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not forbid 'al-'anaqah" (breastfeeding). We asked, "What is 'al-'anaqah?" He said, "When a woman gives birth and her milk is trapped in her breast, so she breastfeeds her neighbor, and the two neighbors."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا تُحَرِّمُ الْعَنَقَةُ» قُلْنَا وَمَا الْعَنَقَةُ؟ قَالَ «الْمَرْأَةُ تَلِدُ فَتَحْصُرُ اللَّبَنَ فِي ثَدْيِهَا فَتُرْضِعُ جَارَتَهَا الْمَرَّةَ وَالْمَرَّتَيْنِ»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Don't prohibit the weaning of a child." We asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what is the weaning?" He said, "When a woman gives birth and her milk is abundant, she breastfeeds her neighbor's child."
