[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "There are three things which I swear by Allah that He will not consider someone who has them in Islam equal to someone who does not have them: the obligation of prayer, fasting, and giving charity (Zakat). And Allah will not appoint someone as a leader in this world who then gives it to someone else on the Day of Resurrection. And Allah does not love a man who loves a group of people except that He will make him among them." And the fourth one, if I were to swear by it, I hope that I will not commit a sin, Allah will not expose a servant in this world except that He will cover him on the Day of Resurrection." Umar ibn Abdul Aziz said: "If you hear a hadith like this from someone like Urwah who narrated it from Aisha, from the Prophet ﷺ , then memorize it."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ ثَلَاثٌ أَحْلِفُ عَلَيْهِنَّ لَا يَجْعَلُ اللهُ ﷻ مَنْ لَهُ سَهْمٌ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ كَمَنْ لَا سَهْمَ لَهُ وَأَسْهُمُ الْإِسْلَامِ ثَلَاثَةٌ الصَّلَاةُ وَالصَّوْمُ وَالزَّكَاةُ وَلَا يَتَوَلَّى الله ﷻ عَبْدًا فِي الدُّنْيَا فَيُوَلِّيهِ غَيْرَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا يُحِبُّ رَجُلٌ قَوْمًا إِلَّا جَعَلَهُ اللهُ ﷻ مَعَهُمْ وَالرَّابِعَةُ لَوْ حَلَفْتُ عَلَيْهَا رَجَوْتُ أَنْ لَا آثَمَ لَا يَسْتُرُ اللهُ ﷻ عَبْدًا فِي الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا سَتَرَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ مِثْلَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ مِنْ مِثْلِ عُرْوَةَيَرْوِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَاحْفَظُوهُ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah does not make a man have an arrow in Islam, as if he does not have an arrow." He said, "The arrows of Islam are fasting, prayer, and charity. Allah does not choose a man in the world and make him his choice on the Day of Judgment. And no man loves a people except that he will come with them on the Day of Judgment." He said, "The fourth is that Allah does not cover up a servant's sin except that He covers it for him in the hereafter." Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz said, "When you hear a narration like this from someone like Uruwa from Aisha, from the Prophet ﷺ, then preserve it."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَجْعَلُ اللهُ ﷻ رَجُلًا لَهُ سَهْمٌ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ كَمَنْ لَا سَهْمَ لَهُ قَالَ وَسِهَامُ الْإِسْلَامِ الصَّوْمُ وَالصَّلَاةُ وَالصَّدَقَةُ وَلَا يَتَوَلَّى الله ﷻ رَجُلًا فِي الدُّنْيَا فَيُوَلِّيَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ غَيْرَهُ وَلَا يُحِبُّ رَجُلٌ قَوْمًا إِلَّا جَاءَ مَعَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قَالَ وَالرَّابِعَةُ لَا يَسْتُرُ اللهُ ﷻ عَلَى عَبْدٍ ذَنْبًا إِلَّا سَتَرَهُ عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرَةِ قَالَ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ مِثْلَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ مِنْ مِثْلِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَاحْفَظُوهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "There are three things that I swear upon, that Allah does not let anyone who has a share in Islam be like the one who has no share. The arrows of Islam are fasting, prayer, and charity. And Allah does not appoint a servant to manage the affairs of others on the Day of Resurrection, and Allah does not love a man who loves a group except that Allah makes him among them. Umar ibn Abdul Aziz said, "If you hear a hadith like this narrated by Urwah from Aisha, then preserve it, for Shaybah al-Hadrami reported it and Bukhari mentioned it in his book of history. It is also said that al-Khudri heard it from Urwah and Umar ibn Abdul Aziz. This hadith has a sound chain of narrators and has not been reported by anyone other than Shu'ayb al-Hadrami, except for al-Nasa'i." The statement "وَفِيهِ جَهَالَةٌ" at the end indicates uncertainty about who reported the hadith.

If I were to swear an oath on them, I would fulfill it, and the fourth thing is that if I were to swear an oath on it, I would hope that I would not commit a sin, that Allah does not make a person who has a share in Islam like one who has no share, and that He does not give authority to a servant in this world but He will appoint someone else in authority over him in the Hereafter. And there is no servant of a people who is not sent by Allah with them and between them. And the fourth thing is that Allah does not cover up a servant in this world, except that He will cover him on the Day of Resurrection."
