"عن قيس بن أبى حازم قال: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ يَقُولُ: إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْكَذِبَ فَإِنَّ الْكَذِبَ مُجَانِبٌ لِلإيمَانِ".

سفيان بن عيينة في جامعه، وابن المبارك، وهناد وابن أبى الدنيا في الصمت، ورسته، وقيس بن أحرم في الاستقامة، وابن مردويه، [ق] البيهقى في السنن وسنده أصح الأسانيد
