"Mu'awiyah went on Hajj and he called a group of Ansar to the Ka'bah. He said: 'I adjure you by Allah, did you hear the Messenger of Allah [SAW] forbid gold?' They said: 'Yes.' He said: 'And I bear witness to that.'"

حَجَّ مُعَاوِيَةُ فَدَعَا نَفَرًا مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ فِي الْكَعْبَةِ فَقَالَ أَنْشُدُكُمْ بِاللَّهِ أَلَمْ تَسْمَعُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَنْهَى عَنِ الذَّهَبِ قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ وَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ

Mu'awiyah went on Hajj and he called a group of Ansar to the Ka'bah. He said: 'I adjure you by Allah, did you hear the Messenger of Allah [SAW] forbid gold?' They said: 'Yes.' He said: 'And I bear witness to that.'"

[Machine] Muawiyah performed Hajj and called a group of Ansar in the Kaaba, then he said, "I swear to Allah, didn't you hear the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbid gold?" They said, "Yes, O Allah, we did." He said, "And I bear witness, didn't you hear that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the rows of leopards?" They said, "Yes, O Allah, we did." He said, "And I bear witness, didn't you hear that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade silk?" They said, "Yes, O Allah, we did." He said, "And I bear witness."

حَجَّ مُعَاوِيَةُ فَدَعَا نَفَرًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ فِي الْكَعْبَةِ فَقَالَ «أَنْشُدُكُمُ اللهَ أَلَمْ تَسْمَعُوا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الذَّهَبِ؟» قَالُوا اللهُمَّ نَعَمْ قَالَ «وَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ أَلَمْ تَسْمَعُوا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ صُفَفِ النُّمُورِ؟» قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ «وَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ أَلَمْ تَسْمَعُوا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْحَرِيرِ؟» قَالُوا اللهُمَّ نَعَمْ قَالَ «وَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ»

[Machine] I ask you by Allah, have you not heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibit silk garments? They said, "O Allah, He said that and I bear witness." Abu 'Abd al-Rahman al-Qatadah told us that he had memorized from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, and his narration is more correct. And success comes from Allah.

أَنْشُدُكُمْ بِاللهِ أَلَمْ تَسْمَعُوا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَنْهَى عَنْ ثِيَابِ الْحَرِيرِ؟ قَالُوا اللهُمَّ قَالَ وَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ قَالَ لَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَتَادَةُ أَحْفَظُ مِنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ وَحَدِيثُهُ أَوْلَى بِالصَّوَابِ وَبِاللهِ التَّوْفِيقُ

«أَنْشُدُكُمْ بِاللهِ أَلَمْ تَسْمَعُوا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَنْهَى عَنِ الذَّهَبِ؟» قَالُوا اللهُمَّ نَعَمْ قَالَ «وَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ»

[Machine] "I remind you by Allah, have you not heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbidding gold?" They said, "O Allah, yes." He said, "And I testify." An-Nasa'i told us, Qatadah, the one who reports from Yahya bin Abi Kathir, and his narration is more correct, and Allah knows best.
