عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَهَذِهِ وَهَذِهِ سَوَاءٌ الإِبْهَامُ وَالْخِنْصَرُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: This and that are equal, that is, the thumb and the little finger.  

أبو داود:٤٥٥٨ – حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ح وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مُعَاذٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ح وَحَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ هَذِهِ وَهَذِهِ سَوَاءٌ قَالَ يَعْنِي الإِبْهَامَ وَالْخِنْصَرَ  

ahmad:1999 – Yaḥyá > Shuʿbah > Qatādah > ʿIkrimah > Ibn ʿAbbās

“This and this are the same” - meaning the pinky finger, ring finger and thumb. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2652)  

أحمد:١٩٩٩ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ شُعْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ هَذِهِ وَهَذِهِ سَوَاءٌ الْخِنْصَرُ وَالْإِبْهَامُ  

tabarani:11824 – ʿUmar b. Ḥafṣ al-Sadūsī > ʿĀṣim b. ʿAlī > Shuʿbah > Qatādah > ʿIkrimah > Ibn ʿAbbās

[Machine] The prophet ﷺ said, "These two (fingers), meaning the thumb and the little finger, are equal in their blood-money."  

الطبراني:١١٨٢٤ – حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «هَذِهِ وَهَذِهِ سَوَاءٌ» يَعْنِي الْإِبْهَامَ وَالْخِنْصِرَ دِيَّتُهُمَا سَوَاءٌ
