When a physician consulted the Prophet ﷺ about putting frogs in medicine, he forbade him to kill them.  

أَنَّ طَبِيبًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنْ ضِفْدَعٍ يَجْعَلُهَا فِي دَوَاءٍ فَنَهَاهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنْ قَتْلِهَا  

When a physician consulted the Prophet ﷺ about putting frogs in medicine, he forbade him to kill them.  

أَنَّ طَبِيبًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنْ ضِفْدَعٍ يَجْعَلُهَا فِي دَوَاءٍ فَنَهَاهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنْ قَتْلِهَا  

[Machine] A doctor mentioned the medicine in front of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he mentioned that the frog is found in the medicine. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade killing it.  

ذَكَرَ طَبِيبٌ الدَّوَاءَ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَذَكَرَ الضُّفْدَعَ تَكُونُ فِي الدَّوَاءِ فَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ قَتْلِهَا  

[Machine] A doctor mentioned in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ a medicine and mentioned that the frog is used in it. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited killing the frog.  

ذَكَرَ طَبِيبٌ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ دَوَاءً وَذَكَرَ الضُّفْدَعَ يُجْعَلُ فِيهِ فَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ قَتْلِ الضُّفْدَعِ  

[Machine] "A doctor mentioned the medicine in front of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , then he mentioned that the frog is included in the medicine, so the Prophet ﷺ forbade killing it."  

«ذَكَرَ طَبِيبٌ الدَّوَاءَ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الضِّفْدَعَ يَكُونُ فِي الدَّوَاءِ فَنَهَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنْ قَتْلِهِ»  

a physician made mention of the use of frogs in a remedy in the presence of the Messenger of Allah and the Messengher of Allah forbade killing them. (sahih) (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4355)  

أَنَّ طَبِيبًا ذَكَرَ ضِفْدَعًا فِي دَوَاءٍ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ «فَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ قَتْلِهِ»  

[Machine] They mentioned the frog to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for a remedy, so he prohibited killing it.  

ذَكَرُوا الضِّفْدَعَ عِنْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لِدَوَاءٍ فَنَهَى عَنْ قَتْلِهَا
