[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Whoever establishes prayer and gives zakat and dies without associating anything with Allah, then it is the right of Allah to admit him to Paradise, whether he migrated or stayed in his birthplace." A man then said, "O Messenger of Allah, if I were to inform the people about this, they would rely on it." The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Indeed, Allah has prepared for the Mujahideen in His cause one hundred levels between each degree just as the distance between the heavens and the earth. If I had the means to strengthen myself and the Muslims with what they spend in the cause of Allah, no secret expedition would be launched without my participation. However, that is not in my hands or their hands. But if I were to go, no one would be left behind who is good except that they would go with me. And that is difficult for me. If I wished, I could fight and be killed, then revived, and then fight and be killed, and then revived, and then fight and be killed."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ أَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَمَاتَ يَعْبُدُ اللهَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا؛ فَإِنَّ حَقًّا عَلَى اللهِ ﷻ أَنْ يُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ هَاجَرَ أَوْ قَعَدَ فِي مَوْلِدِهِ» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنْ حَدَّثْتُ بِهَا النَّاسَ يَطْمَئِنُّوا إِلَيْهَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ اللهَ أَعَدَّ لِلْمُجَاهِدِينَ فِي سَبِيلِهِ مِائَةَ دَرَجَةٍ بَيْنَ كُلِّ دَرَجَتَيْنِ كَمَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ فَلَوْ كَانَ عِنْدِي مَا أَتَقَوَّى بِهِ وَأُقَوِّي الْمُسْلِمِينَ أَوْ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ مَا يُنْفِقُونَ بِهِ مَا انْطَلَقَتْ سَرِيَّةٌ إِلَّا كُنْتُ صَاحِبَهَا وَلَكِنْ لَيْسَ ذَاكَ بِيَدِي وَلَا بِأَيْدِيهِمْ وَلَوْ خَرَجْتُ مَا بَقِيَ أَحَدٌ فِيهِ خَيْرٌ إِلَّا انْطَلَقَ مَعِي وَذَلِكَ يَشُقُّ عَلَيَّ فَلَوَدِدْتُ أَنْ أَغْزُوَ فَأُقْتَلَ ثُمَّ أُحْيَى ثُمَّ أَغْزُوَ فَأُقْتَلَ ثُمَّ أُحْيَى فَأُقْتَلَ»  

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever established Salah, pays Zakah, and dies not associating anything with Allah, he has a right from Allah the Mighty and Sublime, that He will forgive him, whether he emigrated, or died in his birthplace.' We said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Shall we not tell the people about it so that they may rejoice?' He said: 'In Paradise there are one hundred levels, (the distance) between each two of which is like (the distance) between the Heaven and the Earth; Allah has prepared them fro the Mujahidin who strive in His cause. Were it not that it would be too difficult for the believers and I cannot find mounts for them - and they do not like to stay behind if I go out (on a campaign) - I would not have stayed behind from any expedition. I wish that I could be killed then brought back to life, then killed again.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3132)  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ أَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَمَاتَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللهِ أَنْ يَغْفِرَ لَهُ هَاجَرَ أَوْ مَاتَ فِي مَوْلِدِهِ» فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَلَا تُخْبِرُ بِهَا النَّاسَ فَلْيُبَشَّرُوا بِهَا؟ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ مِائَةُ دَرَجَةٍ مَا بَيْنَ كُلِّ دَرَجَتَيْنِ كَمَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَعَدَّهَا لِلْمُجَاهِدِينَ فِي سَبِيلِهِ وَلَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَا أَجِدُ مَا أَحْمِلُهُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَلَا تَطِيبُ أَنْفُسُهُمْ أَنْ يَتَخَلَّفُوا بَعْدِي مَا قَعَدْتُ خَلْفَ سَرِيَّةٍ وَلَوَدِدْتُ أَنِّي أُقْتَلُ ثُمَّ أُحْيَا ثُمَّ أُقْتَلُ»  

"مَنْ أَقَامَ الصَّلاةَ، وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ، وَمَاتَ لا يُشْركُ بِاللهِ شَيئًا كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللهِ أَنْ يُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ، هَاجَرَ أَوْ مَاتَ في مَوْلِدِهِ، قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ الله أَلا نُبَشِّرُ بِهَا أَصْحَابَكَ؟ قَال: دَعُوا النَّاسَ فَلْيَعْمَلُوا؛ فَإِنَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مِائَةَ دَرَجَةٍ مَا بَينَ كُلِّ دَرَجَتَين كَمَا بَينَ السَّمَاءِ والأَرْضِ، أَعَدَّهَا اللهُ لِلْمُجَاهِدِينَ في سَبِيلِهِ- وَلَوْلا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى النَّاسِ بَعْدِى مَا تَخَلَّفْتُ عَنْ سَريَّةٍ أَبْعَثُهَا، وَلَكِنْ لا يَجدُونَ سَعَةً فَيَتَّبِعُونِى، وَلا تَطِيبُ أَنْفُسُهُمْ أَنْ يَتَخَلَّفُوا بَعْدِى، وَلا أجِدُ مَا أُفْضِلُ بِهِ عَلَيهِمْ، وَلَوَدِدْتُ أَنِّي أَغْزُو فَأُقْتَلَ ثُمَّ أَحْيَا ثُمَّ أَغْزُو فَأُقْتَلَ ثُمَّ أَحْيَا ثُمَّ أُقْتَلَ".  

"عَنْ (أَبِى الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ: قَالَ لِى رَسُولُ الله ﷺ (*)) كثيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ أَبِى إِدْرِيسَ، عَنْ أَبِى الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ مَنْ أقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ، وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ، وَمَاتَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِالله شَيْئًا، كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى الله -تَعَالَى- أَنْ يَغْفِرَ لَهُ، هَاجَرَ أَوْ مَاتَ فِى بَلَدِهِ، وَفي لَفْظٍ: في مَوْلِدِهِ قَالَ: فَقُلنَا يَا رَسُولَ الله: أَلا تُخْبِرُ النَّاسَ فَلْيَسْتَبْشِرُوا بِهَا؟ قَالَ: إِنَّ فِى الْجَنَّةِ مِائَةَ دَرَجَةٍ مَا بَيْنَ كُلِّ دَرَجَتْينِ كَمَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ والأَرْضِ، أَعَدَّهَا لِلمُجَاهِدِين في سَبيلِ الله، وَلَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنينَ وَلَا أَجَدُ مَا أَحْمِلُهُمْ عَلَيْهِ، وَلَا تَطيب أَنْفُسُهُمْ أَنْ يَتَخَلَّفُوا بَعْدِى مَا قَعَدْتُ خَلفَ سَرِيَّةٍ، وَلَوَدِدْتُ أَنِّى أُقْتَلُ ثُمَ أَحْيَا ثُمَّ أُقْتَلُ".
