Abu Saʿid, whoever cheerfully accepts Allah as his Lord, Islam as his religion and Muhammad as his Apostle is necessarily entitled to enter Paradise. He (Abu Saʿid) wondered at it and said: Messenger of Allah, repeat it for me. He (the Messenger of Allah) did that and said: There is another act which elevates the position of a man in Paradise to a grade one hundred (higher), and the elevation between one grade and the other is equal to the height of the heaven from the earth. He (Abu Saʿid) said: What is that act? He replied: Jihad in the way of Allah! Jihad in the way of Allah!  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَا أَبَا سَعِيدٍ مَنْ رَضِيَ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا وَبِالإِسْلاَمِ دِينًا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيًّا وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ فَعَجِبَ لَهَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ فَقَالَ أَعِدْهَا عَلَىَّ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَفَعَلَ ثُمَّ قَالَ وَأُخْرَى يُرْفَعُ بِهَا الْعَبْدُ مِائَةَ دَرَجَةٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مَا بَيْنَ كُلِّ دَرَجَتَيْنِ كَمَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ قَالَ وَمَا هِيَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ الْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ الْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , took my hand and said, "O Abu Sa'id, there are three things. Whoever says them will enter Paradise." I asked, "What are they, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied, "Whoever is pleased with Allah as the Lord, Islam as the religion, and Muhammad as the Messenger. And the fourth one, which is greater in virtue than the distance between the heavens and the Earth, is striving in the way of Allah."  

أَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِيَدِي فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا سَعِيدٍ ثَلَاثَةٌ مَنْ قَالَهُنَّ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ قُلْتُ مَا هُنَّ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ مَنْ رَضِيَ بِاللهِ رَبًّا وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولًا ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا أَبَا سَعِيدٍ وَالرَّابِعَةُ لَهَا مِنَ الْفَضْلِ كَمَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ وَهِيَ الْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ  

"O Abu Sa'eed! Whoever is content with Allah as Lord, Islam as his religion and Muhammad as Prophet, then he is guaranteed Paradise." Abu Sa'eed found this amazing and said: "Say it to me again, O Messenger of Allah." So he did that, then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "And there is something else by means of which a person may be raised one hundred degrees in Paradise, each of which is like that which is between the Heaven and the Earth." He said: "What is it, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Jihad in the cause of Allah, Jihad in the cause of Allah." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3131)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Abu Sa'id, whoever is pleased with Allah as his Lord, Islam as his religion, and Muhammad as his Prophet, Paradise will be mandatory for him." Abu Sa'id marveled at this and said, "Repeat it for me, O Messenger of Allah." So, he did.

"مَنْ رَضِيَ بِالله رَبًا، وَبالإِسْلام دينًا وَبمُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولًا وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ، وَأُخْرَى يَرْفَع اللهُ بِهَا أَهْلَهَا في الْجَنَّةِ مائَةَ دَرَجةٍ مَا بَينَ كُلِّ دَرَجَتَينِ كمَا بَينَ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ أَوْ أَبْعَدَ ما بَينَ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ الْجِهَادُ في سَبِيلِ الله".  

"يَا أَبَا سَعِيد: مَنْ رَضِىَ بِالله رَبّا، وَبالإِسْلَامِ دِينًا، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيّا، وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ، وَأُخْرَى يُرْفَعُ بِهَا الْعَبْدُ مائَةَ دَرَجَة في الْجَنَّةِ، مَا بَيْنَ كُلِّ دَرَجَتَيْنِ كَمَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالأرْضِ: الْجِهَادُ في سَبِيلِ الله، الْجِهَادُ في سَبيلِ الله، الْجهَادُ في سَبيلِ الله".
