"I entered upon 'Aishah and asked her: 'Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform Ghusl at the beginning of the night or at the end?' She said: 'Both. Sometimes he performed Ghusl at the beginning and sometimes at the end.' I said: 'Praise be to Allah who has made the matter flexible.'"  

دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ فَسَأَلْتُهَا فَقُلْتُ أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَغْتَسِلُ مِنْ أَوَّلِ اللَّيْلِ أَوْ مِنْ آخِرِهِ قَالَتْ كُلُّ ذَلِكَ كَانَ رُبَّمَا اغْتَسَلَ مِنْ أَوَّلِهِ وَرُبَّمَا اغْتَسَلَ مِنْ آخِرِهِ قُلْتُ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي جَعَلَ فِي الأَمْرِ سَعَةً  

"Sometimes he performed Ghusl at the beginning of the night and sometimes he performed Ghusl at the end." I said: "Praise be to Allah Who has made the matter flexible."  

أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ عَائِشَةَ ؓ أَىُّ اللَّيْلِ كَانَ يَغْتَسِلُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَتْ رُبَّمَا اغْتَسَلَ أَوَّلَ اللَّيْلِ وَرُبَّمَا اغْتَسَلَ آخِرَهُ قُلْتُ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي جَعَلَ فِي الأَمْرِ سَعَةً  

[Machine] I asked Aisha, "Did the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, wash himself from the beginning or from the end when he experienced seminal emission?" She replied, "Sometimes he would wash from the beginning and sometimes from the end." I said, "Allah is the greatest. All praise is due to Allah who has made things easy for us." And I sent blessings upon our master Muhammad, his family, and all his companions.  

قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَصَابَهُ الْجَنَابَةُ اغْتَسَلَ مِنْ أَوَّلِهِ أَوْ مِنْ آخِرِهِ؟ قَالَتْ «رُبَّمَا اغْتَسَلَ مِنْ أَوَّلِهِ وَرُبَّمَا اغْتَسَلَ مِنْ آخِرِهِ» قُلْتُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي جَعَلَ فِي الْأَمْرِ سَعَةً وَصَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى سَيِّدَنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ وَأَصْحَابِهِ أَجْمَعِينَ  

"I entered upon 'Aishah and asked her: 'Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform Ghusl at the beginning of the night or at the end?' She said: 'Both. Sometimes he performed Ghusl at the beginning and sometimes at the end.' I said: 'Praise be to Allah who has made the matter flexible.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 223)  

دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ فَسَأَلْتُهَا فَقُلْتُ أَكَانَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَغْتَسِلُ مِنْ أَوَّلِ اللَّيْلِ أَوْ مِنْ آخِرِهِ؟ قَالَتْ كُلُّ ذَلِكَ رُبَّمَا اغْتَسَلَ مِنْ أَوَّلِهِ وَرُبَّمَا اغْتَسَلَ مِنْ آخِرِهِ قُلْتُ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي جَعَلَ فِي الْأَمْرِ سَعَةً  

"Sometimes he performed Ghusl at the beginning of the night and sometimes he performed Ghusl at the end." I said: "Praise be to Allah Who has made the matter flexible." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 222)  

عَنْ أَيُّ اللَّيْلِ كَانَ يَغْتَسِلُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَتْ رُبَّمَا اغْتَسَلَ أَوَّلَ اللَّيْلِ وَرُبَّمَا اغْتَسَلَ آخِرَهُ قُلْتُ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي جَعَلَ فِي الْأَمْرِ سَعَةً  

[Machine] I asked Aisha, "Did you see the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform the ritual bath for major impurity (ghusl) at the beginning of the night or at the end?" She replied, "Perhaps he performed it at the beginning of the night, and perhaps he performed it at the end." I said, "Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest), praise be to Allah who made ease in matters."
