ʿUmar stood up on the pulpit and said, "Now then, prohibition of alcoholic drinks have been revealed, and these drinks are prepared from five things, i.e.. grapes, dates, honey, wheat or barley And an alcoholic drink is that, that disturbs the mind.  

أَمَّا بَعْدُ نَزَلَ تَحْرِيمُ الْخَمْرِ وَهْىَ مِنْ خَمْسَةٍ الْعِنَبِ وَالتَّمْرِ وَالْعَسَلِ وَالْحِنْطَةِ وَالشَّعِيرِ وَالْخَمْرُ مَا خَامَرَ الْعَقْلَ  

"Alcoholic drinks are prepared from five things, i.e., raisins, dates. wheat, barley and honey."  

الْخَمْرُ يُصْنَعُ مِنْ خَمْسَةٍ مِنَ الزَّبِيبِ وَالتَّمْرِ وَالْحِنْطَةِ وَالشَّعِيرِ وَالْعَسَلِ  

"Khamr is made from five things: From dates, wheat, barley, honey and grapes."  

الْخَمْرُ مِنْ خَمْسَةٍ مِنَ التَّمْرِ وَالْحِنْطَةِ وَالشَّعِيرِ وَالْعَسَلِ وَالْعِنَبِ  

I heard ʿUmar while he was on the pulpit of the Prophet ﷺ saying, "Now then O people! The revelation about the prohibition of alcoholic drinks was revealed; and alcoholic drinks are extracted from five things: Grapes, dates, honey, wheat and barley. And the alcoholic drink is that which confuses and stupefies the mind." (Using translation from Bukhārī 4619)   

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ أَلَا إِنَّهُ نَزَلَ تَحْرِيمُ الْخَمْرِ يَوْمَ نَزَلَ وَهِيَ مِنْ خَمْسَةٍ «مِنَ الْعِنَبِ وَالتَّمْرِ وَالْعَسَلِ وَالْحِنْطَةِ وَالشَّعِيرِ وَالْخَمْرُ مَا خَامَرَ الْعَقْلَ»

الْخَمْرُ مِنْ خَمْسَةٍ «مِنَ الزَّبِيبِ وَالتَّمْرِ وَالشَّعِيرِ وَالْبُرِّ وَالْعَسَلِ»  

"Alcoholic drinks are prepared from five things, i.e., raisins, dates. wheat, barley and honey." (Using translation from Bukhārī 5589)   

الْخَمْرُ مِنْ خَمْسٍ «مِنَ التَّمْرِ وَالزَّبِيبِ وَالْحِنْطَةِ وَالشَّعِيرِ وَالْعَسَلِ»  

[Machine] Wine is made from five things - dates, wheat, barley, honey, and grapes. Abu Abdur Rahman said that Ibrahim ibn al-Muhajir disagreed with them.  

الْخَمْرُ مِنْ خَمْسَةٍ «مِنَ التَّمْرِ وَالْحِنْطَةِ وَالشَّعِيرِ وَالْعَسَلِ وَالْعِنَبِ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ خَالَفَهُمْ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُهَاجِرِ

«أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ أَلَا إِنَّهُ نَزَلَ تَحْرِيمُ الْخَمْرِ يَوْمَ نَزَلَ وَهِيَ مِنْ خَمْسَةٍ مِنَ الْعِنَبِ وَالتَّمْرِ وَالْعَسَلِ وَالْحِنْطَةِ وَالشَّعِيرِ وَالْخَمْرُ مَا خَامَرَ الْعَقْلَ»  

"الأشربة من خمس: من الحنطة، والشعيرِ، والتَّمرِ، والزَّبيب، والعسلِ، فما خَمُرَ فَهُوَ خَمْرٌ" .
