nasai-kubra:185 – Muḥammad b. al-Muthanná > Yaḥyá / Ibn Saʿīd > Jaʿfar / Ibn Muḥammad b. ʿAlī b. Ḥusayn from his father > ʿAlī b. Ḥusayn > Zaynab b. Um Salamah > Um Salamah

It was narrated from Umm Salamah that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at (meat from) a shoulder, then Bilal came to him and he went out to pray, and he did not touch water. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 182)  

الكبرى للنسائي:١٨٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «أَكَلَ كَتِفًا فَجَاءَهُ بِلَالٌ فَخَرَجَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَلَمْ يَمَسَّ مَاءً»
