The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Does the man who lifts his head before the Imam not fear that Allah may change his face into that of an ass?  

مسلم:٤٢٧b – حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَا يَأْمَنُ الَّذِي يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ فِي صَلاَتِهِ قَبْلَ الإِمَامِ أَنْ يُحَوِّلَ اللَّهُ صُورَتَهُ فِي صُورَةِ حِمَارٍ

مُحَمَّدٌ ﷺ أَمَا يَخْشَى الَّذِي يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ قَبْلَ الإِمَامِ أَنْ يُحَوِّلَ اللَّهُ رَأْسَهُ رَأْسَ حِمَارٍ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Does not the one who raises his head before the Imam fear that Allah may turn his head into the head of a donkey?’”  

ابن ماجة:٩٦١ – حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ وَسُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ

رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَلاَ يَخْشَى الَّذِي يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ قَبْلَ الإِمَامِ أَنْ يُحَوِّلَ اللَّهُ رَأْسَهُ رَأْسَ حِمَارٍ؟

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He who raises his head before the imam, while still with the imam, it is as if he has transformed the image of Allah into the image of a donkey."

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "The one who raises his head before the imam finishes (the prayer) will have his head transformed into that of a donkey by Allah."
