muslim:2570aʿUthmān b. Abū Shaybah And ʾIsḥāq b. Ibrāhīm > Isḥāq > ʿUthmān > Jarīr > al-Aʿmash > Abū Wāʾil > Masrūq

'A'isha reported, I did not see anyone else being afflicted with more severe illness than Messenger of Allah ﷺ. In the narration transmitted by 'Uthman there is a slight variation of wording.

عَائِشَةُ مَا رَأَيْتُ رَجُلاً أَشَدَّ عَلَيْهِ الْوَجَعُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ عُثْمَانَ مَكَانَ الْوَجَعِ وَجَعًا
