Ibn 'Umar (Allah be pleased with him) reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ and Abu Bakr and 'Umar observed halt at al-Abtah.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ كَانُوا يَنْزِلُونَ الأَبْطَحَ

I saw the Prophet ﷺ and Abu Bakr and Umar walking before the funeral.

رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ يَمْشُونَ أَمَامَ الْجَنَازَةِ

"The Prophet, Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman would camp at Al-Abtah."

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ يَنْزِلُونَ الأَبْطَحَ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ وَأَبِي رَافِعٍ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

His father said: "I saw the Prophet, Abu Bakr, and Umar walking in front of the funeral."

رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ يَمْشُونَ أَمَامَ الْجَنَازَةِ

"The Messenger of Allah would walk in front of the funeral, as did Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ كَانُوا يَمْشُونَ أَمَامَ الْجَنَازَةِ

That his father saw the Messenger of Allah, Abu Bakr and 'Umar, may Allah be pleased with them, walking in front of the Janazah.

أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ ؓ يَمْشُونَ أَمَامَ الْجَنَازَةِ

“I saw the Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr and ‘Umar walking ahead of the funeral (procession).”

رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ يَمْشُونَ أَمَامَ الْجِنَازَةِ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Abu Bakr, ‘Umar and ‘Uthman used to walk ahead of the funeral (procession).”

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَ عُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ يَمْشُونَ أَمَامَ الْجِنَازَةِ

It was narrated from Jabir that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Abu Bakr, ‘Umar and ‘Uthman performed Hajj Ifrad (Single Hajj).

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ أَفْرَدُوا الْحَجَّ

[AI] That Abdullah bin Umar used to walk in front of the funeral procession while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman were walking in front of it.

أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ يَمْشِي بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الْجِنَازَةِ وَقَدْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ يَمْشُونَ أَمَامَهَا

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Abu Bakr, ‘Umar and ‘Uthman used to stay at Abtah.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3069)

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ يَنْزِلُونَ بِالْأَبْطَحِ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Abu Bakr, ‘Umar and ‘Uthman used to walk ahead of the funeral (procession).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1483)

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ يَمْشُونَ أَمَامَ الْجِنَازَةِ

[AI] Indeed, the Prophet, Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman descended to Al-Muhasabah.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ نَزَلُوا الْمُحَصَّبَ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Abu Bakr, ‘Umar and ‘Uthman used to walk ahead of the funeral (procession).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1483)

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَمْشِي بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الْجِنَازَةِ وَقَدْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ يَمْشُونَ أَمَامَهَا

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ , Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman used to complete the takbeer when they raised their hands and when they put them down.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ كَانُوا يُتِمُّونَ التَّكْبِيرَ إِذَا رَفَعُوا وَإِذَا وَضَعُوا

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and Abu Bakr and Umar as well as the khalifas up until this time and Abdullah ibn Umar, would walk in front of the bier.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ كَانُوا يَمْشُونَ أَمَامَ الْجَنَازَةِ وَالْخُلَفَاءُ هَلُمَّ جَرًّا وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ

I saw the Prophet ﷺ and Abu Bakr and Umar walking before the funeral. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3179)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ كَانُوا «يَمْشُونَ أَمَامَ الْجَنَازَةِ»

[AI] Indeed, the Prophetﷺ Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman used to descend to Al-Muhassab.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ كَانُوا يَنْزِلُونَ الْمُحَصَّبَ «

قَال رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيّ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ يمشون أمام الجنازة

[AI] "That the Prophet ﷺ , Abu Bakr, and Umar used to walk in front of the funeral."

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ كَانُوا يَمْشُونَ أَمَامَ الْجِنَازَةِ»

“I saw the Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr and ‘Umar walking ahead of the funeral (procession).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1482)
