ibnmajah:1109 – Muḥammad b. Yaḥyá > ʿAmr b. Khālid > Ibn Lahīʿah > Muḥammad b. Zayd b. Muhājir > Muḥammad b. al-Munkadir > Jābir b. ʿAbdullāh

It was narrated from Jabir that whenever the Prophet ﷺ ascended the pulpit he would greet (the people with Salam).  

ابن ماجة:١١٠٩ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا صَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ سَلَّمَ
