Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "A Muslim does not encounter fatigue, tiredness, concern, sorrow, injury or grief, or even a thorn which pricks him without Allah expiating his errors for him by that."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُسْلِمَ مِنْ نَصَبٍ وَلاَ وَصَبٍ وَلاَّهَمٍّ وَلاَ حَزَنٍ وَلاَ أَذًى وَلاَ غَمٍّ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةُ يُشَاكُهَا إِلاَّ كَفَّرَ اللَّهُ بِهَا مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ

(the wife of the Prophet) Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No calamity befalls a Muslim but that Allah expiates some of his sins because of it, even though it were the prick he receives from a thorn."

أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ ؓ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَا مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ تُصِيبُ الْمُسْلِمَ إِلاَّ كَفَّرَ اللَّهُ بِهَا عَنْهُ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا

The Prophet ﷺ said, "No fatigue,nor disease, nor sorrow nor sadness, nor hurt nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick from a thorn, except that Allah expiates some of his sins for that."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: «مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُسْلِمَ مِنْ نَصَبٍ وَلاَ وَصَبٍ، وَلاَ هَمٍّ وَلاَ حُزْنٍ، وَلاَ أَذًى وَلاَ غَمٍّ، حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا، إِلاَّ كَفَّرَ اللَّهُ بِهَا مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ».

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: There is no trouble that comes to a believer except that it obliterates from his sins, even if it is the pricking of a thorn

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَا مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ يُصَابُ بِهَا الْمُسْلِمُ إِلاَّ كُفِّرَ بِهَا عَنْهُ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا

Never a believer is stricken with discomfort, hardship or illness, grief or even with mental worry that his sins are not expiated for him.

أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُؤْمِنَ مِنْ وَصَبٍ وَلاَ نَصَبٍ وَلاَ سَقَمٍ وَلاَ حَزَنٍ حَتَّى الْهَمِّ يُهَمُّهُ إِلاَّ كُفِّرَ بِهِ مِنْ سَيِّئَاتِهِ

The Messenger of Allah said: "Nothing afflicts the believer, whether fatigue, grief, disease - even a worry that concerns him - except that by it, Allah removes something from his bad deeds."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَا مِنْ شَيْءٍ يُصِيبُ الْمُؤْمِنَ مِنْ نَصَبٍ وَلاَ حَزَنٍ وَلاَ وَصَبٍ حَتَّى الْهَمُّ يَهُمُّهُ إِلاَّ يُكَفِّرُ اللَّهُ بِهِ عَنْهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "No affliction, distress, worry, sorrow, harm, or grief befalls a believer, even to the extent of a pricking thorn, except that Allah expiates some of his sins."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُؤْمِنَ مِنْ وَصَبٍ وَلَا نَصَبٍ وَلَا هَمٍّ وَلَا حَزَنٍ وَلَا أَذًى وَلَا غَمٍّ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةُ يُشَاكُهَا إِلَّا كَفَّرَ اللهُ مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ لَا يُصِيبُهُ وَصَبٌ وَلَا نَصَبٌ وَلَا حَزَنٌ وَلَا سَقَمٌ وَلَا أَذًى حَتَّى الْهَمُّ يُهِمُّهُ إِلَّا يُكَفِّرُ اللهُ عَنْهُ مِنْ سَيِّئَاتِهِ».

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said: "No fatigue, illness, sorrow, grief, harm, or sadness, not even a thorn that pricks a Muslim, but Allah expiates some of his sins because of it."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَايُصِيبُ الْمَرْءَ الْمُسْلِمَ مِنْ نَصَبٍ وَلَا وَصَبٍ وَلَا هَمٍّ وَلَا حَزَنٍ وَلَا غَمٍّ وَلَا أَذًى حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةَ يُشَاكُهَا إِلَّا كَفَّرَ اللهُ ﷻ عَنْهُ بِهَا مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet (PBUH), he said: "No Muslim is afflicted with any illness, injury, or sorrow, even the worry that disturbs him, except that Allah will expiate his sins for him."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَا أَصَابَ الْمُسْلِمَ مِنْ مَرَضٍ وَلَا وَصَبٍ وَلَا حَزَنٍ حَتَّى الْهَمَّ يُهِمُّهُ إِلَّا يُكَفِّرُ اللهُ ﷻ عَنْهُ مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ

[AI] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who said: "No fatigue, no disease, no sorrow, no sadness, no harm, no distress befalls a believer, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins because of it."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَمَا يُصِيبُ الْمُؤْمِنَ مِنْ وَصَبٍ وَلَا نَصَبٍ وَلَا هَمٍّ وَلَا حَزَنٍ وَلَا أَذًى وَلَا غَمٍّ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا إِلَّا كَفَّرَ اللهُ مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, the believer is not afflicted with tiredness, hardship, sadness, illness, or harm, even a worry that troubles him, except that Allah will expiate his sins."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ لَا يُصِيبُهُ وَصَبٌ وَلَا نَصَبٌ وَلَا حَزَنٌ وَلَا سَقَمٌ وَلَا أَذًى حَتَّى الْهَمُّ يُهِمُّهُ إِلَّا اللهُ يُكَفِّرُ عَنْهُ مِنْ سَيِّئَاتِهِ

[AI] "Aisha, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ , said that the Prophet ﷺ said: There is no calamity that afflicts a Muslim except that Allah expiates his sins through it, even to the extent of a thorn that pricks him."

أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَتْ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَا مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ تُصِيبُ الْمُسْلِمَ إِلَّا كَفَّرَ اللهُ ﷻ بِهَا عَنْهُ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةُ يُشَاكُهَا

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يُصِيبُ الْمَرْءَ الْمُؤْمِنَ مِنْ نَصَبٍ وَلَا وَصَبٍ وَلَا هَمٍّ وَلَا حُزْنٍ وَلَا غَمٍّ وَلَا أَذًى حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةُ يُشَاكُهَا إِلَّا كَفَّرَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطَايَاهُ»

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قال ما يصيب المسلم من مصيبة إلا كفر الله عنه حتى الشوكة تشوكه وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رَوَاهُ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ عائشة ؓ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No fatigue, illness, anxiety, sorrow, harm, or distress befalls a believer, even if it be the prick he receives from a thorn, except that Allah expiates some of his sins thereby."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُؤْمِنَ مِنْ وَصَبٍ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ إِلَّا قَصَّ اللهُ بِهَا أَوْ كَفَّرَ بِهَا مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ»

[AI] Saeed Al-Khudri and Abu Hurairah reported that they both heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "No affliction, hardship, illness, or sorrow befalls a believer, even if it is the pricking of a thorn, except that Allah expiates his sins through it."

سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُؤْمِنَ مِنْ نَصَبٍ وَلَا وَصَبٍ وَلَا سَقَمٍ وَلَا حَزَنٍ حَتَّى الْهَمُّ يُهِمُّهُ إِلَّا كَفَّرَ اللهُ بِهِ مِنْ سَيِّئَاتِهِ

(the wife of the Prophet) Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No calamity befalls a Muslim but that Allah expiates some of his sins because of it, even though it were the prick he receives from a thorn." (Using translation from Bukhārī 5640)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ تُصِيبُ الْمُسْلِمَ إِلَّا كَفَّرَ اللهُ بِهَا عَنْهُ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا

"مَا مِنْ شَيءٍ يُصيبُ المُؤْمنَ مِن نَصَبٍ وَلا حَزَنٍ وَلا وَصَبٍ حتى الهم يَهُم، إِلا كفر اللهُ بِه عَنهُ سَيِّئاته".

"مَا مِنْ مُؤْمِنٍ يُصيبُه وَصَبٌ، وَلا نَصَبٌ، وَلا سَقَمٌ، وَلا حَزَنٌ وَلا هَمٌّ يُهمُّه، إِلا كَفَّر الله سيِّئاته".

"مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يُصِيبُهُ وَصَبٌ، ولا نَصبٌ، وَلا أَذًى، وَلا حَزَنٌ وَلا سَقمٌ، وَلا هَمٌّ يَهُمُّهُ إلَّا كفَّرَ الله عنْهُ مِنْ سيِّئَاتِهِ".

"مَا مِنْ مُصِيبةٍ تُصِيبُ المُسْلِمَ إِلا كَفَّرَ الله بِها عَنْهُ، حتَّى الشَّوْكَة يُشاكُهَا".

"مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُسْلمَ مِنْ نَصبٍ ولا وصَبٍ ولا هَمٍّ ولا حزَنٍ ولا أَذًى ولا غَمٍّ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَة يُشَاكُهَا إِلَّا كَفَّر اللهُ بِهَا مِن خَطَايَاه".

"لا يُصِيبُ المَرءَ المؤمِنَ نصبٌ وَلا وَصَبٌ، وَلا هَمٌّ، وَلا حَزَنٌ، وَلا غَمٌّ، وَلا أَذى، حَتَّى الشوكةُ يُشَاكُها، إِلا كفرَ اللهُ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطَايَاهُ".
