The Prophet ﷺ said, "No fatigue,nor disease, nor sorrow nor sadness, nor hurt nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick from a thorn, except that Allah expiates some of his sins for that."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: «مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُسْلِمَ مِنْ نَصَبٍ وَلاَ وَصَبٍ، وَلاَ هَمٍّ وَلاَ حُزْنٍ، وَلاَ أَذًى وَلاَ غَمٍّ، حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا، إِلاَّ كَفَّرَ اللَّهُ بِهَا مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ».
Never a believer is stricken with discomfort, hardship or illness, grief or even with mental worry that his sins are not expiated for him.
أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُؤْمِنَ مِنْ وَصَبٍ وَلاَ نَصَبٍ وَلاَ سَقَمٍ وَلاَ حَزَنٍ حَتَّى الْهَمِّ يُهَمُّهُ إِلاَّ كُفِّرَ بِهِ مِنْ سَيِّئَاتِهِ
The Messenger of Allah said: "Nothing afflicts the believer, whether fatigue, grief, disease - even a worry that concerns him - except that by it, Allah removes something from his bad deeds."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَا مِنْ شَيْءٍ يُصِيبُ الْمُؤْمِنَ مِنْ نَصَبٍ وَلاَ حَزَنٍ وَلاَ وَصَبٍ حَتَّى الْهَمُّ يَهُمُّهُ إِلاَّ يُكَفِّرُ اللَّهُ بِهِ عَنْهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِ
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "No fatigue, illness, sorrow, grief, harm, or sadness, not even a thorn that pricks a Muslim, but Allah expiates some of his sins because of it."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَايُصِيبُ الْمَرْءَ الْمُسْلِمَ مِنْ نَصَبٍ وَلَا وَصَبٍ وَلَا هَمٍّ وَلَا حَزَنٍ وَلَا غَمٍّ وَلَا أَذًى حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةَ يُشَاكُهَا إِلَّا كَفَّرَ اللهُ ﷻ عَنْهُ بِهَا مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ
[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet (PBUH), he said: "No Muslim is afflicted with any illness, injury, or sorrow, even the worry that disturbs him, except that Allah will expiate his sins for him."

Even a believer’s worries and hardships erase sins
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “No fatigue, nor exhaustion, nor sorrow, nor illness, nor harm befalls a believer, even the worry that troubles him, except that Allah expiates some of his sins because of it.”
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ لَا يُصِيبُهُ وَصَبٌ وَلَا نَصَبٌ وَلَا حَزَنٌ وَلَا سَقَمٌ وَلَا أَذًى حَتَّى الْهَمُّ يُهِمُّهُ إِلَّا يُكَفِّرُ اللهُ عَنْهُ مِنْ سَيِّئَاتِهِ».

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "No affliction, distress, worry, sorrow, harm, or even a thorn pricks the believer except that Allah expiates his sins through it."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يُصِيبُ الْمَرْءَ الْمُؤْمِنَ مِنْ نَصَبٍ وَلَا وَصَبٍ وَلَا هَمٍّ وَلَا حُزْنٍ وَلَا غَمٍّ وَلَا أَذًى حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةُ يُشَاكُهَا إِلَّا كَفَّرَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطَايَاهُ»
(the wife of the Prophet) Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No calamity befalls a Muslim but that Allah expiates some of his sins because of it, even though it were the prick he receives from a thorn." (Using translation from Bukhārī 5640)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ تُصِيبُ الْمُسْلِمَ إِلَّا كَفَّرَ اللهُ بِهَا عَنْهُ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا
Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "A Muslim does not encounter fatigue, tiredness, concern, sorrow, injury or grief, or even a thorn which pricks him without Allah expiating his errors for him by that."

"مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُسْلمَ مِنْ نَصبٍ ولا وصَبٍ ولا هَمٍّ ولا حزَنٍ ولا أَذًى ولا غَمٍّ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَة يُشَاكُهَا إِلَّا كَفَّر اللهُ بِهَا مِن خَطَايَاه".
"لا يُصِيبُ المَرءَ المؤمِنَ نصبٌ وَلا وَصَبٌ، وَلا هَمٌّ، وَلا حَزَنٌ، وَلا غَمٌّ، وَلا أَذى، حَتَّى الشوكةُ يُشَاكُها، إِلا كفرَ اللهُ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطَايَاهُ".
