So much, so that if a thorn pricks him or he suffers a simple, minor injury (His sins are forgiven)”.
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يُصَابُ بِمُصِيبَةٍ وَجَعٍ أَوْ مَرَضٍ إِلاَّ كَانَ كَفَّارَةَ ذُنُوبِهِ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةُ يُشَاكُهَا أَوِ النَّكْبَةُ
(the wife of the Prophet) Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No calamity befalls a Muslim but that Allah expiates some of his sins because of it, even though it were the prick he receives from a thorn."
أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ ؓ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَا مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ تُصِيبُ الْمُسْلِمَ إِلاَّ كَفَّرَ اللَّهُ بِهَا عَنْهُ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا
Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: There is no trouble that comes to a believer except that it obliterates from his sins, even if it is the pricking of a thorn
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَا مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ يُصَابُ بِهَا الْمُسْلِمُ إِلاَّ كُفِّرَ بِهَا عَنْهُ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا
[AI] "Aisha, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ , said that the Prophet ﷺ said: There is no calamity that afflicts a Muslim except that Allah expiates his sins through it, even to the extent of a thorn that pricks him."

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is nothing that befalls a Muslim, not even a thorn that pricks him, except that it shortens his sins."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا مِنْ شَيْءٍ يُصِيبُالْمُسْلِمَ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةُ يُشَاكُهَا إِلَّا قَصَّرَ مِنْ ذُنُوبِهِ
ذِكْرُ تَكْفِيرِ اللَّهِ جَلَّ وَعَلَا ذُنُوبَ الْمُسْلِمِ فِي الدُّنْيَا بِالْأَسْقَامِ وَالْأَوْجَاعِ
[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no illness or pain that afflicts a believer except that it becomes an expiation for their sins, even a thorn that pricks them or a calamity that befalls them."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَا مِنْ سَقَمٍ وَلَا وَجَعٍ يُصِيبُ الْمُؤْمِنَ إِلَّا كَانَ كَفَّارَةٌ لِذَنْبِهِ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةُ يُشَاكُهَا وَالنَّكْبَةُ يُنْكَبُهَا»
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قال ما يصيب المؤمن وصب ولاَ نصب ولاَ هم ولاَ حزن حتى الشوكة يشاكها أو تشوكه إلاَّ كفر الله بها عنه من خطاياه
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قال ما يصيب المسلم من مصيبة إلا كفر الله عنه حتى الشوكة تشوكه وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رَوَاهُ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ عائشة ؓ
