Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Allah! Save ʿAiyyash bin Abi Rabiʿa (from the unjust treatment of the infidels). O Allah! Save Salama bin Hisham. O Allah! Send your Punishment on (the tribe of) Mudar. O Allah! Let them suffer from years (of drought) similar to that inflicted during the life-time of Joseph."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْجِ عَيَّاشَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْجِ سَلَمَةَ بْنَ هِشَامٍ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْجِ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْجِ الْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ اللَّهُمَّ اشْدُدْ وَطْأَتَكَ عَلَى مُضَرَ اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهَا سِنِينَ كَسِنِي يُوسُفَ

The Prophet ﷺ used to recite the following invocations during Qunut: "O Allah! Save Salama bin Hisham. O Allah! Save Al-Walid bin Al-Walid. O Allah! Save ʿAiyash bin Rabiʿa O Allah ! Save the weak Muslims. O Allah! Be very hard on Mudar tribe. O Allah! Afflict them with years (of famine) similar to the (famine) years of the time of Prophet Joseph."

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَدْعُو فِي الْقُنُوتِ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْجِ سَلَمَةَ بْنَ هِشَامٍ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْجِ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْجِ عَيَّاشَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْجِ الْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ اللَّهُمَّ اشْدُدْ وَطْأَتَكَ عَلَى مُضَرَ اللَّهُمَّ سِنِينَ كَسِنِي يُوسُفَ

The Prophet ﷺ used to invoke Allah in his prayer, "O Allah! Save ʿAiyash bin Abi Rabiʿa and Salama bin Hisham and Al-Walid bin Al-Walid; O Allah! Save the weak among the believers; O Allah! Be hard upon the tribe of Mudar and inflict years (of famine) upon them like the (famine) years of Joseph."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَدْعُو فِي الصَّلاَةِ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْجِ عَيَّاشَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ وَسَلَمَةَ بْنَ هِشَامٍ وَالْوَلِيدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْجِ الْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ اللَّهُمَّ اشْدُدْ وَطْأَتَكَ عَلَى مُضَرَ وَابْعَثْ عَلَيْهِمْ سِنِينَ كَسِنِي يُوسُفَ

When the Prophet ﷺ (once) raised his head after bowing [in the Salat (prayer)] he said, "O Allah, save Al-Walid bin Al-Walid and Salama bin Hisham and 'Aiyyash bin Abu Rabi'a and the helpless weak believers of Makkah. O Allah, be hard on the tribe of Mudar. O Allah, send on them (famine-drought) years like the (famine-drought) years of (the Prophet) Yusuf (Joseph)."

لَمَّا رَفَعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرَّكْعَةِ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْجِ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ وَسَلَمَةَ بْنَ هِشَامٍ وَعَيَّاشَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ وَالْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ بِمَكَّةَ اللَّهُمَّ اشْدُدْ وَطْأَتَكَ عَلَى مُضَرَ اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهَا عَلَيْهِمْ سِنِينَ كَسِنِي يُوسُفَ

"When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his head in the second rak'ah of the subh prayer, he said: 'O Allah, save Al-Walid bin Al-Walid and Salamah bin Hisham and 'Ayyshah bin Abi Rabi'ah and those who are weak and oppressed in Makkah. O Allah, intensify Your punishment in Mudar and give them years (of famine) like the years of Yusuf.'"

لَمَّا رَفَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرَّكْعَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ مِنْ صَلاَةِ الصُّبْحِ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْجِ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ وَسَلَمَةَ بْنَ هِشَامٍ وَعَيَّاشَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ وَالْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ بِمَكَّةَ اللَّهُمَّ اشْدُدْ وَطْأَتَكَ عَلَى مُضَرَ وَاجْعَلْهَا عَلَيْهِمْ سِنِينَ كَسِنِي يُوسُفَ

“When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his head from Ruku’ in the Subh prayer, he said: ‘O Allah, save Al-Walid bin Walid, Salamah bin Hisham and ‘Ayyash bin Abu Rabi’ah, and the oppressed in Makkah. O Allah, tighten Your grip on Mudar, and send them years of famine like the famine of Yusuf.”

“When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his head from Ruku’ in the Subh prayer, he said: ‘O Allah, save Al-Walid bin Walid, Salamah bin Hisham and ‘Ayyash bin Abu Rabi’ah, and the oppressed in Makkah. عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ لَمَّا رَفَعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرَّكْعَةِ الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ قَالَ اللهُمَّ أَنْجِ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ وَسَلَمَةَ بْنَ هِشَامٍ وَعَيَّاشَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ وَالْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ بِمَكَّةَ اللهُمَّ اشْدُدْ وَطْأَتَكَ عَلَى مُضَرَ وَاجْعَلْهَا عَلَيْهِمْ سِنِينَ كَسِنِي يُوسُفَ

[Machine] "And when he raised his head from the last prostration, he would say, 'O Allah, save Ayyash bin Abi Rabia, O Allah, save Salamah bin Hisham, O Allah, save Walid bin Walid, O Allah, save the oppressed among the believers, O Allah, strengthen and intensify your punishment on the oppressors, O Allah, make them years like the years of Yusuf.'"

وَكَانَ إِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرَّكْعَةِ الْآخِرَةِ يَقُولُ اللهُمَّ أَنْجِ عَيَّاشَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ اللهُمَّ أَنْجِ سَلَمَةَ بْنَ هِشَامٍ اللهُمَّ أَنْجِ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ اللهُمَّ أَنْجِ الْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ اللهُمَّ اشْدُدْ وَطْأَتَكَ عَلَى مُضَرَ اللهُمَّ اجْعَلْهَا سِنِينَ كَسِنِي يُوسُفَ

[Machine] "When the Prophet ﷺ would raise his head from the last prostration of the last prayer of Isha, he would supplicate and say: 'O Allah, save Al-Walid bin Al-Walid, O Allah, save Salamah bin Hisham, O Allah, save Ayyash bin Abi Rabee'ah, O Allah, save the oppressed among the believers, O Allah, strengthen Your punishment upon Mudar, O Allah, let it be years similar to the years of Yusuf.'"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرَّكْعَةِ الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ قَنَتَ وَقَالَ اللهُمَّ نَجِّ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ اللهُمَّ أَنْجِ سَلَمَةَ بْنَ هِشَامٍ اللهُمَّ نَجِّ عَيَّاشَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ اللهُمَّ أَنْجِ الْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ اللهُمَّ اشْدُدْوَطْأَتَكَ عَلَى مُضَرَ اللهُمَّ اجْعَلْهَا سِنِينَ كَسِنِي يُوسُفَ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah prayed, then raised his head and said: O Allah, protect Ayyash ibn Abi Rabiah, O Allah, protect Salamah ibn Hisham, O Allah, protect Al-Walid ibn Al-Walid, O Allah, protect the oppressed among the believers, O Allah, strengthen your punishment upon Mudar. O Allah, make them years like the years of Prophet Yusuf. Allah is the greatest. Then he prostrated.

رَكَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَقَالَ اللهُمَّ أَنْجِ عَيَّاشَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ اللهُمَّ أَنْجِ سَلَمَةَ بْنَ هِشَامٍ اللهُمَّ أَنْجِ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ اللهُمَّ أَنْجِ الْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ اللهُمَّ اشْدُدْ وَطْأَتَكَ عَلَى مُضَرَ اللهُمَّ اجْعَلْهَا سِنِينَ كَسِنِي يُوسُفَ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ ثُمَّ خَرَّ سَاجِدًا

“When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his head from Ruku’ in the Subh prayer, he said: ‘O Allah, save Al-Walid bin Walid, Salamah bin Hisham and ‘Ayyash bin Abu Rabi’ah, and the oppressed in Makkah. O Allah, tighten Your grip on Mudar, and send them years of famine like the famine of Yusuf.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1244)

While the Prophet ﷺ was offering the ʿIsha' prayer, he said, "Allah hears him who sends his praises to Him," and then said before falling in prostration, "O Allah, save ʿAiyash bin Rabiʿa. O Allah, save Salama bin Hisham. O Allah, save Al-Walid bin Al-Wahd. O Allah, save the weak ones among the believers. O Allah, let Your punishment be severe on the tribe of Mudar. O Allah, inflict upon them years (of famine) like the years of Joseph." (Using translation from Bukhārī 4598)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ لَمَّا قَالَ سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ قَالَ اللهُمَّ أَنْجِ عَيَّاشَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ اللهُمَّ أَنْجِ سَلَمَةَ بْنَ هِشَامٍ اللهُمَّ أَنْجِ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ اللهُمَّ أَنْجِ الْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ اللهُمَّ اشْدُدْ وَطْأَتَكَ عَلَى مُضَرَ اللهُمَّ اجْعَلْ سِنِينَ كَسِنِي يُوسُفَ

صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم حين يفرغ من صلاة الفجر ويركع ويرفع رأسه يقول سمع الله لمن حمده اللهم ربنا لك الحمد أنج الوليد بن الوليد وسلمة بن هشام وعياش ابن أبي ربيعة والمستضعفين من المؤمنين اللهم اشدد وطأتك على مضر واجعلها عليهم سنين كسني يوسف

"لَمَا رَفَعَ رسولُ الله ﷺ مِنَ الركْعَةِ الآخرةِ في صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ، قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ ربَّنَا ولَكَ الحمَدُ، اللَّهُمَّ أَنْج الوليدَ بنَ الولَيدِ، وسَلَمَةَ بنَ هِشَامٍ، وعَيَّاشَ بنَ أبى رَبِيعَةَ والمُسْتَضعَفين مِنَ المؤْمِنين بمكة، اللَّهُم اشُدُد وَطْأَتَك عَلَى مُضَر، واجْعَلْهَا عليهم كَسِنِى يُوسُفَ".
