[Machine] I came to the Prophet ﷺ and greeted him, and he said, "Are you Awf?" I replied, "Yes". He said, "Enter". I asked, "All of me or part of me?" He replied, "All of you". He said, "Prepare, O Awf, six things that will happen before the Day of Judgment. The first is my death." He said, "So I began to cry until the Messenger of Allah ﷺ told me to stop. I said, "The second and the third are the opening of Jerusalem and two deaths that will occur in my nation, taken like a flock of sheep". He said, "Three". He said, "And the fourth is a tribulation that will afflict my nation, and it will be severe." He said, "Four". He said, "And the fifth is an excess of wealth among you, to the extent that a man will be given a hundred dinars and he will be dissatisfied with them." He said, "Five". He said, "And the sixth is a truce that will be made between you and the yellow race, who will then attack you with eighty banners." I asked, "And what is the goal?" He said, "Under each banner will be twelve thousand Muslim soldiers on that day, in a land called Ghouta in a city called Damascus."

أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ عَوْفٌ؟ فَقُلْتُ نَعَمْ فَقَالَ ادْخُلْ قَالَ قُلْتُ كُلِّي أَوْ بَعْضِي؟ قَالَ بَلْ كُلُّكَ قَالَ اعْدُدْ يَا عَوْفُ سِتًّا بَيْنَ يَدَيِ السَّاعَةِ أَوَّلُهُنَّ مَوْتِي قَالَ فَاسْتَبْكَيْتُ حَتَّى جَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُسْكِتُنِي قَالَ قُلْتُ إِحْدَى وَالثَّانِيَةُ فَتْحُ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ قُلْتُ اثْنَيْنِ وَالثَّالِثَةُ مُوتَانٌ يَكُونُ فِي أُمَّتِي يَأْخُذُهُمْ مِثْلَ قُعَاصِ الْغَنَمِ قَالَ ثَلَاثًا وَالرَّابِعَةُ فِتْنَةٌ تَكُونُ فِي أُمَّتِي وَعَظَّمَهَا قُلْ أَرْبَعًا وَالْخَامِسَةُ يَفِيضُ الْمَالُ فِيكُمْ حَتَّى إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيُعْطَى الْمِائَةَ دِينَارٍ فَيَتَسَخَّطُهَا قُلْ خَمْسًا وَالسَّادِسَةُ هُدْنَةٌ تَكُونُ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَ بَنِي الْأَصْفَرِ فَيَسِيرُونَ إِلَيْكُمْ عَلَى ثَمَانِينَ غَايَةً قُلْتُ وَمَا الْغَايَةُ؟ قَالَ الرَّايَةُ تَحْتَ كُلِّ رَايَةٍ اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَلْفًا فُسْطَاطُ الْمُسْلِمِينَيَوْمَئِذٍ فِي أَرْضٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا الْغُوطَةُ فِي مَدِينَةٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا دِمَشْقُ

[Machine] "I entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during the Battle of Tabuk in the late night while he was in his tent. I greeted him and said, 'May I enter, O Messenger of Allah?' He said, 'Enter.' I asked him if I could bring some food, and he replied, 'Bring all of it.' Then he ﷺ said, 'There are six things that will occur before the Day of Judgment. The first is the death of your Prophet Muhammad. Say, 'One.' I said, 'One.' The second is the conquest of Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem). Say, 'Two.' I said, 'Two.' Then he said, 'The third is the death of two individuals in which you will be affected like the shaking off dead hairs from a sheep skin. Say, 'Three.' I said, 'Three.' He continued saying, 'The fourth is the abundance of wealth among you, to the extent that a person will be given one hundred dinars and will still be discontented. Say, 'Four.' I said, 'Four.' The fifth is a trial that will come upon you until hardly a house, goat, or camel remains that will not be affected by it. Say, 'Five.' I said, 'Five.' And the sixth is a treaty that will be made between you and the Banu Asfar (Romans), and they will gather against you forces like the load of a pregnant she-camel, but then they will break the treaty and attack you with eighty banners, each banner carrying twelve thousand soldiers.' [Machine] I went to the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , while he was in a building. I greeted him and he said, "Awf ibn Malik?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Enter." I said, "Should I bring my entire food or just a part of it?" He said, "No, bring all of it." He then said to me, "O Awf, prepare six things before the Hour, the first of which is my death." I started crying until he made me quiet, then he said to me, "Say one." So I said one. He said, "and the second?" I said two. He said, "and the third? It will be two deaths that will befall my Ummah, taking them away like the sound of a bell." So I said three. He said, "and the fourth? It will be a trial that will occur in my Ummah, and it will be great." Then he said, "Say four." So I said four. He said, "and the fifth? Wealth will overflow among you to the extent that a man will be given a hundred dinars and he will be displeased with it." So I said five. He said, "and the sixth? There will be a truce between you and the people of the yellow race, and they will march against you with an army of eighty thousand, under each flag there will be twelve thousand soldiers of the Muslims, in a land called Ghouta near a city called Damascus."

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ فِي بِنَاءٍ لَهُ فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ «عَوْفُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ؟» فَقُلْتُ نَعَمْ فَقَالَ «ادْخُلْ» فَقُلْتُ أَكُلِّي أَوْ بَعْضِي؟ فَقَالَ «بَلْ كُلُّكَ» فَقَالَ لِي يَا عَوْفُ اعْدُدْ سِتًّا بَيْنَ يَدَيِ السَّاعَةِ أَوَّلُهُنَّ مَوْتِي وَاسْتَبْكَيْتُ حَتَّى جَعَلَ يُسْكِتُنِي ثُمَّ قَالَ لِي «قُلْ إِحْدَى» فَقَالَ وَالثَّانِيَةُ فَتْحُ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ قُلْ ثِنْتَانِ فَقُلْتُ ثِنْتَانِ فَقَالَ وَالثَّالِثَةُ مُوتَانٌ يَكُونُ فِي أُمَّتِي يَأْخُذَهُمْ مِثْلَ عِقَاصِ الْغَنَمِ قُلْ ثَلَاثٌ فَقُلْتُ ثَلَاثٌ فَقَالَ وَالرَّابِعَةُ فِتْنَةٌ تَكُونُ فِي أُمَّتِي وَعَظَّمَهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ قُلْ أَرْبَعٌ فَقُلْتُ أَرْبَعٌ فَقَالَ وَالْخَامِسَةُ يَفِيضُ فِيكُمُ الْمَالُ حَتَّى أَنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيُعْطَى الْمِائَةَ دِينَارٍ فَيَسْخَطَهَا قُلْ خَمْسٌ فَقُلْتُ خَمْسٌ فَقَالَ وَالسَّادِسَةُ يَكُونُ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَ بَنِي الْأَصْفَرِ هُدْنَةٌ فَيَسِيرُونَ عَلِيْكُمْ عَلَى ثَمَانِينَ غَايَةً تَحْتَ كُلِّ غَايَةٍ اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَلْفًا فُسْطَاطُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ يَوْمَئِذٍ فِي أَرْضٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا الْغُوطَةُ فِي مَدِينَةٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا دِمَشْقُ

And the fourth is an abundance of wealth to the extent that a man will be given a hundred dinars and he will still be unsatisfied. Say: Four. I said, Four. And the fifth is a trial that will come among you, so that no house of mud or brick will remain except that it will enter it. Say: Five. I said, Five. And the sixth is a truce between you and the yellow people, where they will gather against you and betray you after accepting a woman's carrying load. They will march forth with eighty banners, under each banner twelve thousand (soldiers)."

[Machine] I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during the Tabuk campaign, and he was in a dome. I heard the sound of footsteps and he said, "Who is this?" I said, "Awf ibn Malik." He said, "Enter, O Awf." I said, "Shall I serve you, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Yes." So I entered and I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performing ablution with great care. He said, "O Awf, there are six things that will happen before the Day of Judgment. What do you think is the first among them?" I said, "One of them." So I remained silent at that time for a severe scolding. Then he said, "The conquest of Jerusalem." I said, "Two." So he scolded me again and said, "The wealth will overflow among you until a man is given a hundred dinars and he becomes upset." I said, "Three." So he scolded me again and said, "Then there will be two deaths sent upon you like the biting of a sheep." I said, "Four." He scolded me again and said, "Then there will be a trial that will emerge from among you, and it will not leave a single household of the Muslims untouched." I said, "Five." He scolded me again and said, "Then there will be a truce between you and the Romans, and they will betray you at the end of it, and they will come to you with an army led by a woman, and they will come to you with eighty banners, and under each banner, there will be eighty thousand soldiers."

رُحْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكٍ وَهُوَ فِي قُبَّةٍ فَسَمِعَ رِكْزَ رِجْلَيَّ فَقَالَ «مَنْ هَذَا؟» قُلْتُ عَوْفُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ فَقَالَ «ادْخُلْ يَا عَوْفُ» فَقُلْتُ أَكُلِّي يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ فَقَالَ «نَعَمْ» فَدَخَلْتُ فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَتَوَضَّأُ وُضُوءًا مَكِينًا فَقَالَ يَا عَوْفُ سِتٌّ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ السَّاعَةِ مَا تَعُدُّونَ أَوَّلُهُنُّ مَوْتُ نَبِيِّكُمْ ﷺ قُلْ إِحْدَى قُلْتُ إِحْدَى فَوَجَمْتُ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ وَجْمَةً شَدِيدَةً ثُمَّ قَالَ فَتْحُ إِيلِيَا قُلْ اثْنَتَيْنِ قُلْتُ اثْنَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ يُفِيضُ فِيكُمُ الْمَالُ حَتَّى يُعْطَى الرَّجُلُ مِائَةَ دِينَارٍ فَيَسْخَطَهَا قُلْ ثَلَاثًا فَقُلْتُ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ مُوتَانٌ يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمْ كَقُعَاصِ الْغَنَمِ قُلْ أَرْبَعًا قُلْتُ أَرْبَعًا ثُمَّ فِتْنَةٌ تَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْنِكُمْ لَا تَكَادُ تَدَعُ بَيْتًا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ إِلَّا دَخَلَتْهُ قُلْ خَمْسًا قُلْتُ خَمْسًا «ثُمَّ هُدْنَةٌ تَكُونُ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَ الرُّومِ يَغْدِرُونَ فِي آخِرِهَا فَيَجْتَمِعُونَ لَكُمْ حَمَلِ امْرَأَةٍ فَيَأْتُونَكُمْ فِي ثَمَانِينَ غَايَةً تَحْتَ كُلِّ غَايَةٍ ثَمَانُونَ أَلْفًا»

"قَالَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ : اعْدُدْ يَا عَوْفُ سِتّا بَيْنَ يَدَىِ السَّاعَةِ: أَوَّلُهُنَّ مَوْتَىِ، فَاسْتَبكَيْتُ حَتَّى جَعَلَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ يَسْتَبْكِى، ثُمَّ قَالَ: قلْ إِحْدَىِ، وَالثَّانِيَةُ فَتْحُ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ، قُلِ: اثْنَتَيْنِ، وَالثَّالِثَةُ: مَوْتان يكونُ فِى أُمَّتِى كعِقَاصِ الْغَنَمِ، قُلْ: ثَلَاثًا، وَالرَّابِعَةُ فِتْنَةٌ تَكُونُ فِى أُمَّتِى وأعظمها، قُلْ أَرْبَعًا، وَالْخَامِسَةُ: يَفيِضُ الْمَالُ مِنْكُمْ حَتَّى يُعْطَى الرَّجُلُ الْمِائَةَ الدِّينَارِ فيسْخَطها، قُلْ: خَمْسًا، وَالسَّادِسَةُ: هُدْنَةٌ تَكُونُ بيْنَكُمْ

وَبَيْنَ بَنِى الأصْفَرِ ثُمَّ يَسيرُونَ إِلَيْكُمْ فَيُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ وَالْمُسْلِمُونَ يَوْمَئِذٍ فِى أَرْضٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا الْغُوطَةُ فِى مَدِينَةٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا دِمَشْقُ".
