[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Women do not have to shave their heads; their shortening of the hair is sufficient. Ibn 'Ata' is Jacob ibn 'Ata'."  

البيهقي:٩٤٠٦ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا السَّرِيُّ بْنُ يَحْيَى ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ شَيْبَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ عُثْمَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ حَلْقٌ إِنَّمَا عَلَى النِّسَاءِ التَّقْصِيرُ ابْنُ عَطَاءٍ هُوَ يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ

The Prophet ﷺ said: Shaving is not a duty laid on women; only clipping the hair is incumbent on them.

أَخْبَرَتْنِي أُمُّ عُثْمَانَ بِنْتُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَيْسَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ حَلْقٌ إِنَّمَا عَلَى النِّسَاءِ التَّقْصِيرُ»

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Women are not obligated to shave their heads; rather, it is only required for them to shorten (their hair)."
