[Machine] That men and women during the time of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to perform ablution together in one vessel.  

البيهقي:٩١٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْقَاضِي قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ أنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ وَثنا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ قُرِئَ عَلى ابْنِ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَكَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ وَمَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ وَيُونُسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ وَغَيْرُهُمْ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ الرِّجَالَ وَالنِّسَاءَ فِي زَمَانِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ كَانُوا يَتَوَضَّئُونَ جَمِيعًا فِي الْإِنَاءِ الْوَاحِدِ  

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar used to say that men and their wives used to do wudu together in the time of the Messenger of Allah.
