[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said that silk and gold are forbidden for the males of my community but permissible for their females. This has been narrated to us in the hadith of Ali ibn Abi Talib, Uqbah ibn Amir, and Abdullah ibn Amr from the Prophet ﷺ .

البيهقي:٧٥٥٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ أَبِي حَامِدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ ؓ قَالَ

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الْحَرِيرُ وَالذَّهَبُ حَرَامٌ عَلَى ذُكُورِ أُمَّتِي حِلٌّ لِإِنَاثِهِمْ وَقَدْ رُوِّينَاهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ وَعُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ وَعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ أُحِلَّ الذَّهَبُ وَالْحَرِيرُ لِإِنَاثِ أُمَّتِي وَحُرِّمَ عَلَى ذُكُورِهَا وَرُوِيَ ذَلِكَ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ وَعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ
