Once I went up the roof of our house and saw Messenger of Allah ﷺ answering the call of nature while sitting over two bricks facing Baitul-Maqdis (Jerusalem). (See Hadith No. 147). (Using translation from Bukhārī 149)  

أحمد:٤٩٩١ – حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى أَنَّ عَمَّهُ وَاسِعَ بْنَ حَبَّانَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ

لَقَدْ ظَهَرْتُ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ عَلَى ظَهْرِ بَيْتِنَا فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَاعِدًا عَلَى لَبِنَتَيْنِ مُسْتَقْبِلًا بَيْتَ الْمَقْدِسِ

"I climbed on the roof of our house and saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on two bricks, facing toward Bait Al-Maqdis (jerusalem), relieving himself."

I ascended the roof of the house and saw the Apostle of Allaah ( sal Allaahu alayhi wa sallam) sitting on two bricks facing Jerusalem (Bait al-Maqdis) for relieving himself.  

أبو داود:١٢ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ عَنْ عَمِّهِ وَاسِعِ بْنِ حَبَّانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

لَقَدِ ارْتَقَيْتُ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْبَيْتِ فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَلَى لَبِنَتَيْنِ مُسْتَقْبِلَ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ لِحَاجَتِهِ  

ibnmajah:322 – [Chain 1] Hishām b. ʿAmmār > ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd b. Ḥabīb > al-Awzāʿī > Yaḥyá b. Saʿīd al-Anṣārī [Chain 2] Abū Bakr b. Khalāad And Muḥammad b. Yaḥyá > Yazīd b. Hārūn > Yaḥyá b. Saʿīd > Muḥammad b. Yaḥyá b. Ḥabbān > ʿAmmah Wāsiʿ b. Ḥabbān > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar

"People say: 'When you sit to relieve yourself, do not face the Qiblah.' But one day I climbed up onto the roof of our house, and I saw the Messenger of Allah sitting on two bricks (to relieve himself), facing the direction of Baitul-Maqdis (Jerusalem)." This is a Hadith narrated by Yazid bin Harun.  

ابن ماجة:٣٢٢ – حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأَنْصَارِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَلاَّدٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنْبَأَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَمَّهُ وَاسِعَ بْنَ حَبَّانَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ يَقُولُ

أُنَاسٌ إِذَا قَعَدْتَ لِلْغَائِطِ فَلاَ تَسْتَقْبِلِ الْقِبْلَةَ وَلَقَدْ ظَهَرْتُ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ مِنَ الأَيَّامِ عَلَى ظَهْرِ بَيْتِنَا فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَاعِدًا عَلَى لَبِنَتَيْنِ مُسْتَقْبِلَ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ هَذَا حَدِيثُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ هَارُونَ

[Machine] "I climbed onto the roof of our house and I saw the Prophet ﷺ sitting on the edge facing the direction of Bayt al-Maqdis."  

الدارمي:٦٩٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَمَّهُ وَاسِعَ بْنَ حَبَّانَ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

رَقَيْتُ عَََلَى ظَهْرِ بَيْتِنَا فَرَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَلَى ظَهْرِ بَيْتِنَا فَرَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ جَالِسًا عَلَى لَبِنَتَيْنِ مُسْتَقْبِلَ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ
