[Machine] "To the Prophet ﷺ , I love so-and-so for the sake of Allah. He said, 'Did you inform him?' The person said, 'No.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Inform him that I love him for the sake of Allah.' The person then went and said to him, 'Know that I love you for the sake of Allah.' The person replied to him, 'May the One whom you love me for His sake also love you.' And Khalaf said in his narration, 'So he met him.'"  

أحمد:١٢٥٩٠ – حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ وَخَلَفُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِيُّ أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ

لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِنِّي أُحِبُّفُلَانًا فِي اللهِ قَالَ فَأَخْبَرْتَهُ؟ قَالَ لَا قَالَ فَأَخْبِرْهُ فَقَالَ تَعْلَمُ أَنِّي أُحِبُّكَ فِي اللهِ قَالَ فَقَالَ لَهُ فَأَحَبَّكَ الَّذِي أَحْبَبْتَنِي لَهُ وَقَالَ خَلَفٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ فَلَقِيَهُ

[Machine] "To the Prophet ﷺ , I said, 'I love so-and-so.' The Prophet ﷺ then asked me, 'Did you inform him?' I said, 'No.' He said, 'Tell him.' So, I met him afterwards and said, 'By Allah! " عَنْ أنَسٍ: أنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ: يَارَسُولَ الله إِنِّى أُحبُّ فُلَانًا فِى الله - ﷻ - قَالَ: فَأَخبَرْتَهُ؟ قَالَ: لاَ، قَالَ: قُمْ فَأَخْبِرْهُ، قَالَ: فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَقُلْتُ إِنِّى أُحِبُّكَ فِى الله يَا فُلاَنُ، فَقَالَ: أَحَبَّك الله الَّذِى أَحْبَبْتَنِى لَهُ ".
