[Machine] The tourist said to his companion, "Enter the village and buy me a shroud, for I am dead, so hurry." The companion entered the village and found out that one of the village's prominent figures had passed away. The people gathered at his grave and closed their shops. The companion realized that he couldn't buy what he was instructed to buy, so he returned to his friend and bought a shroud and a burial garment. When he returned, he found out that his friend had also passed away and his face had been eaten by a lion. He became anguished and lamented, saying, "As for so-and-so, the tyrant, he was shrouded and buried. But as for so-and-so, his face was eaten." It was said that as for so-and-so, the tyrant, he had only one good deed, so Allah wanted him out of this world as he had no share in the hereafter. However, as for so-and-so, the tourist, he had done much good, so Allah took him out of this world without him feeling any pain.

[Machine] There was a scribe among the people of Bani Israel who used to advise and remind them of the days of Allah. One day, he saw some of his children winking at women, so he said, "Hold on, my children, hold on." Then, he fell from his bed and broke his spine, his wife miscarried, and his children were killed in battle. Then Allah revealed to their prophet to inform the scribe that Allah will never bring forth a righteous descendant from him due to his anger, except if he says, "Hold on, my children, hold on."

The sea said to you, 'My waves are abundant and my springs are abundant, and I wanted to lean towards the land.'" The land said to you, 'My trees are abundant and my mountains are abundant, and my animals are abundant, and my rivers are abundant. I wanted to lean towards the sea.' الزهد لأحمد:٥٣٨حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أبِي حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ إِنَّ لُقْمَانَ قَالَ
