الزهد لأحمد:٥٥٠ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أبِي أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ شَيْخٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ أَنَّ لُقْمَانَ قَالَ

لِابْنِهِ «يَا بُنَيَّ لَا تَرْغَبْ فِي وُدِّ الْجَاهِلِ؛ فَيَرَى أَنَّكَ تَرْضَى عَمَلَهُ وَلَا تَتَهَاوَنْ بِمَقْتِ الْحَكِيمِ فَيَزْهَدَ فِيكَ»
