tabarani:849ʿAlī b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz > Ibn al-Aṣbahānī > Muʿāwiyah b. Hishām > Sufyān > Manṣūr > Mujāhid And ʿAṭāʾ > Ayman al-Ḥabashī

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The least that should be cut off from a thief is the price of a mule." And it was said that he used to cut off a dinar.  

الطبراني:٨٤٩حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا ابْنُ الْأَصْبَهَانِيِّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ وَعَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَيْمَنَ الْحَبَشِيِّ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَدْنَى مَا يُقْطَعُ فِيهِ السَّارِقُ ثَمَنُ الْمِجَنِّ» قَالَ وَقَدْ كَانَ يُقَوَّمُ دِينَارًا
