[Machine] "The hands used to be cut off during the time of the Prophet ﷺ for the crime of theft."
[Machine] "The hands used to be cut off during the time of the Prophet ﷺ for the crime of theft."
“The hand of the thief is to be cut off for the price of a shield. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2586)
I offered the Friday prayer along with Anas ibn Malik. We were pushed to the pillars (due to the crowd of people). We, therefore, stopped forward and backward. Anas then said: We used to avoid it (setting a row between the pillars) during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 673)
"The price of a shield at the time of the Messenger of Allah was ten Dirhams." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4956)
[Machine] There was never a hand cut off during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for less than the worth of a handful of dates or barley.
