[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pledged allegiance to Uthman ibn Affan with one of his hands on top of the other and said, "O Allah, Uthman is in need of You and in need of Your Messenger."  

الطبراني:٦٢٦٣ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سَلَّامِ بْنِ أَبِي الْهَيْفَاءِ الْأَسَدِيُّ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

"عَنْ إِيَاسِ بِن سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبيهِ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بَايَعَ لِعُثْمانَ ابْن عَفانَ بإِحْدَى يَدَيْهِ عَلَى الأُخْرى، وَقَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ عُثْمانَ فِى حاجَتِكَ وَحاجَةِ رَسُولكَ".
