الطبراني:٣١٦ – حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ نا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ حَدَّثَنِي عَقِيلٌ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ سَعْدَ بْنَ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ لَمَّا حَضَرَهُ الْمَوْتُ دَعَا بِخِلَقِ جُبَّةٍ صُوفٍ فَقَالَ

«كَفِّنُونِي فِيهَا فَإِنِّي لَقِيتُ فِيهَا الْمُشْرِكِينَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ وَإِنَّمَا كُنْتُ أُخَبِّؤُهَا لِهَذَا»

"عن الزُّهْرِىِّ: أَنَّ سَعْدَ بْنَ أَبِى وَقَّاصٍ لَمَّا حَضَرهُ المَوْتُ دَعَا بِخَلَقٍ جَيِّدٍ لَهُ مِنْ صُوفٍ، فَقَالَ: كَفَّنُونِى فيهَا فَإِنَّى كُنْتُ لَقِيتُ فِيهَا المُشْرِكِينَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ وَهِىَ عَلَىَّ وَإِنَّما كُنْتُ أُخبَّئُهَا لِهَذَا الْيوْمِ".
