[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ once lay down and woke up while holding red soil in his hand. I asked him, "What is this soil, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied, "Jibril informed me that this is the earth where Hussein will be killed in Iraq." I then asked Jibril, "Show me the soil of the Earth where he will be killed." So this is its soil.  

الطبراني:٢٨٢١ – حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الدِّمْيَاطِيُّ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُسَافِرٍ التِّنِّيسِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الزَّمْعِيُّ عَنْ هَاشِمِ بْنِ هَاشِمِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ عَنْ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَمْعَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ اضْطَجَعَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ فَاسْتَيْقَظَ وَهُوَ خَاثِرُ النَّفْسِ وَفِي يَدِهِ تُرْبَةٌ حَمْرَاءُ يُقَلِّبُهَا فَقُلْتُ مَا هَذِهِ التُّرْبَةُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ فَقَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ أَنَّ هَذَا يُقْتَلُ بِأَرْضِ الْعِرَاقِ لِلْحُسَيْنِ فَقُلْتُ لِجِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ أَرِنِي تُرْبَةَ الْأَرْضِ الَّتِي يُقْتَلُ بِهَا فَهَذِهِ تُرْبَتُهَا

[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went to sleep one night and woke up bewildered. Then he went back to sleep and woke up bewildered again, without seeing what I saw the first time. Then he went to sleep and woke up holding red soil, which he kissed. So I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, what is this soil?' He said, 'Jibril informed me that this is the soil on which Al-Husayn will be killed in Iraq.' So I said to Jibril, 'Show me the soil of the land on which he will be killed.' He then showed me this soil.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ اضْطَجَعَ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ لِلنَّوْمِ فَاسْتَيْقَظَ وَهُوَ حَائِرٌ ثُمَّ اضْطَجَعَ فَرَقَدَ ثُمَّ اسْتَيْقَظَ وَهُوَ حَائِرٌ دُونَ مَا رَأَيْتُ بِهِ الْمَرَّةَ الْأُولَى ثُمَّ اضْطَجَعَ فَاسْتَيْقَظَ وَفِي يَدِهِ تُرْبَةٌ حَمْرَاءُ يُقَبِّلُهَا فَقُلْتُ مَا هَذِهِ التُّرْبَةُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ أَنَّ هَذَا يُقْتَلُ بِأَرْضِ الْعِرَاقِ لِلْحُسَيْنِ فَقُلْتُ لِجِبْرِيلَ أَرِنِي تُرْبَةَ الْأَرْضِ الَّتِي يُقْتَلُ بِهَا فَهَذِهِ تُرْبَتُهَا

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ lay down one day to sleep, and he woke up panting. He lay down again and slept, then woke up with red soil in his hand which he was flipping. I asked, "What is this soil, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Jibril informed me that this is the soil from the place where Husayn will be killed in Iraq." So I asked Jibril, "Show me the soil of the land where he will be killed." This is that soil (in his hand).

"عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ: اضْطَجَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ فَاسْتَيْقَظَ وَهُوَ خَائِرُ النَّفْس، وَفِى يَدِهِ تُرْبَةٌ حَمْرَاءُ يُقَبِّلُهَا، فَقُلْتُ: مَا هَذِهِ التُّرْبَةُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ فَقَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي جِبْرِيلُ أَنَّ هَذَا يُقْتَلُ بِأَرْضِ الْعِرَاقِ للْحُسَيْنِ، فَقُلْتُ لِجِبْرِيلَ: أَرَنِي تُرْبَةَ الأَرْضِ الَّتِي يُقْتَلُ بِهَا، فَهَذِهِ تُرْبَتُهَا".
